BBC pulls out of Stonewall diversity scheme

The BBC has withdrawn from a workplace equality scheme run by LGBTQ+ charity Stonewall.
The broadcaster said its participation in Stonewall's Diversity Champions scheme had raised questions about whether it could be impartial on issues that the charity was campaigning about.
A number of other bodies and government departments have previously pulled out.
Stonewall said organisations were being "pressured into rolling back support for LGBTQ+ employees".
The BBC said it was committed to inclusion and may work with the charity in the future.
Last month, BBC Radio 5 Live presenter Stephen Nolan's podcast considered whether the BBC and other public bodies were too close to the charity, such as by allowing its stance on gender identity to influence the BBC's training and style guide.
A statement from the corporation on Wednesday said: "We are proud of our lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans colleagues and we support them to have fulfilling careers at the BBC.
"Along with many other UK employers, the BBC has participated in Stonewall's Diversity Champions Programme to support our objective to create a fully inclusive workplace. However, over time our participation in the Programme has led some to question whether the BBC can be impartial when reporting on public policy debates where Stonewall is taking an active role.
"After careful consideration, we believe it is time to step back from the Diversity Champions Programme and will also no longer participate in Stonewall's Workplace Equality Index.
"Being a part of the Diversity Champions Programme has never required the BBC to support the campaigns of Stonewall, nor its policy positions. As a broadcaster, we have our own values and editorial standards - these are clearly set out and published in our Editorial Guidelines. We are also governed by the Royal Charter and the Ofcom Broadcasting Code. Our journalists continue, as ever, to report a full range of perspectives on stories.
"Although the BBC will not be renewing its participation in the Diversity Champions Programme, in the future we will continue to work with a range of external organisations, including Stonewall, on relevant projects to support our LGBTQ+ staff."
Stonewall said it was "a shame" that the BBC had decided not to renew its membership.
"We will continue to engage with the BBC on a number of fronts to champion support for LGBTQ+ colleagues and to represent our communities through their reporting," a statement said.
It added: "It is shocking that organisations are being pressured into rolling back support for LGBTQ+ employees."
Stonewall says more than 900 organisations in the UK have signed up to the Diversity Champions scheme, which aims to promote inclusion in the workplace.
It is described by Stonewall as "the leading employers' programme for ensuring all LGBTQ+ staff are free to be themselves in the workplace".
Media watchdog Ofcom, the Equality Human Rights Commission and the government's Equalities Office and Ministry of Justice are among the other bodies to have pulled out.
The BBC's decision comes almost two weeks after director general Tim Davie unveiled a new 10-point impartiality plan.

Seems like damage control or an attempt to distance themselves from a developing scandal.

What the fuck. Has this guy never taken a shit before? This has to be a troll; the alternative is that a human being capable of holding a job and posting on the internet reached adulthood without grasping how to use a toilet.
Everyone knows girls don't poop. Why is he even asking this question?

Universal theme: TIMs and TIFs have no actual knowledge of the opposite sex. This includes:
  • How people have sex with each other
  • What sex organs actually look, feel, smell or taste like (they're delicious, btw)
  • What sex feels like
  • What lesbians do with each other in real life and not just porn -- some like penetration, some don't, and none of them want lesbian sex to involve actual dicks.
  • What gay men do with each other -- not everyone buttfucks
  • What women actually think or feel (hint: It's not "look, I have boobs, dress go spinny, my pussy is THIS inches deep). What women actually wear, for that matter (actual practical clothing, not anime bondage lingerie fetish gear.
  • What men actually think or feel. Damn if I know, I"m not one, not interested in being one, but if I get curious about it I actually know some men I could ask except I'm way too busy just being a human being doing human being stuff so who the fuck cares what men think.
  • How male and female bodies have far more in common than they have differences, but those differences are significant -- mostly to do with size and strength, and the fact that men are overwhelmingly more likely than women to commit crimes of violence.
  • Women are not just men without dicks.
  • Men are not just women without tits.

In one of the more relatively open trans subs (I know, not saying much) there is a well-meaning post asking why everyone seems to hate transgender people more and more.

Of course, anyone who gave a truly honest answer would be piled on and banned, and so the replies are mostly idiotic and either deny it or blame fringe right-wingers.

I used to feel sorry for them, but not in the way they think. To me gender dysphoria is (or was) a mental disorder however none of that matters anymore because I couldn't give a fuck what happens to them. Never believed that they were the sex they wanted to become, would never have considered dating one, didn't want them in female emergency shelters/prisons/sports, knew some that were not completely fucking insane. Or so I thought. Something always happens to break out the exceptionalism.

The one thing that really changed for me is that they really have it in for those who have attitudes like I had - the live and let live mentality. If you directly admit "no, I think you are a man" and stick to your guns, there is no game to play. They will hate you but the real fun to be had is with the ones who can be woolly. It seems very cat and mouse like from an objective standpoint, but abusers do not go after the ones who are resolute - only the ones they know they hurt. I suppose it is like the saying if you sit on the fence for long enough you will get shot. I have always thought you are a man, I have been polite because I saw it as dealing with a type of mental illness and nothing more. You can go back to calling it a type of mental illness/disorder and that is fine because I make a point of avoiding the personality disorders anyway.

Troons themselves took me from seeing them as feeling sorry for them to not wanting anything to do with them. It wasn't TERFs, it wasn't KiwiFarms, it wasn't anything or anyone else other than you and your own behavior. "Who radicalized you?" You did.

Was on the same boat. The best comparison I can give about how I first felt towards TRA is severely autistic people/schizos. Do I feel bad for them and agree they need all the help they can get to live a good life? Yes, but I also don't want to be anywhere near them, because it's extremely emotionally taxing to handle these people, and also potentially physically dangerous. And I just don't care enough to personally deal with that. For trannies, replace tism/schizo with gender dysphoria, and the belief that if all this SRS stuff actually helps them then sure I'll support it, but otherwise I want nothing to do with them.

But they have forfeited the right for my pity. TRA themselves are the ones who proved this whole thing is a joke. Do I still feel sympathy for someone who genuinely has gender dysphoria? Of course, it's still a mental illness and it still sucks, but transitioning is not the answer. In my eyes it's the same thing as meeting an anorexic person and encouraging them to continue fasting and throwing up food so they can hit their goal weight. You're not helping them, you're making the situation even worse.

God this rings so true. For me it's like seeing a mentally ill person walking down the opposite side of the street while ranting and raving about 5G and lizard men. Yeah I feel sorry your brain is so fucked up and failed you, but if you come up to me and start flipping out, we're gonna have a fucking problem.

Yup. I've said it before: I don't hate these people, generally (groomers, pedos and extreme fetishists can die in a fire). If you gotta wear a dress to get through your day, whatever dude. Its all the extra demands on top and marginalizing other people (mostly but not just bio women) that pisses me off.

Trying to download this to archive it... Facebook keeps dicking me over

The main troon's Facebook is here [x]. His profile is connected to this page [x] with 5k members that he posts on. He is Lithuanian, but I don't know what his second-in-command's nationality is.

ETA: The second troon might be Greek.

Here's my favorite comment. He (understandably) hates tucutes, but he claims that they are paid actors. Gives a shoutout to our boy, Danielle Muscato

The honest questions would be: are you personally ready to fuck a tranny? What would you say if your son/daughter/ wife/ husband troons out? Would you aprove your kid dating a troon? Do you as a taxpayer agree to spend your taxes to phallos and amholes, instead of real healthcare issues? Are you OK with your daughter going to the bathroom with a buffalo bill types? Or competing with ones?
If you haven't met a troon then you might still honestly (or as honest as you can be without having full information) think that transition works and that being trans is just another form of intersex condition. A lot of people in this thread used to be trans allies and I think that we would probably answer:
  • Yes
  • I'll support them through this difficult transition
  • Sure
  • That's for the medical professionals to decide
  • I'm sure that the trans community will keep those sorts out
And I think that that last one is where a lot of us peak-transed. I had seen plenty of effeminate gay trannies in the city growing up and had assumed that they were just the less passing ones that I noticed. I was in my 20s when I started doing things that brought me into close contact with troons; when some fucking middle-aged linebacker-type with a buzzcut, 5 o'clock-shadow, and a sundress started complaining about it being a microaggression when people talk to him about sports while he's wearing a t-shirt and no one was pushing back against his unreasonable expectations or his gender stereotypes he's reenforcing (obviously this dude didn't even come close to passing on any level and his dress was the only indication that he identified as a woman, but even if he was a woman, women can be into sports, especially in this city where almost everyone was a sports fan) I peaked for the first time.

Off Topic: Do I *have* to have an FB account to view FB now? The last few times I clicked an FB link I just get routed to a login page...
Same. Fuck that noise. If we could get some archives of any facebook content, that'd be great, but like fuck am I signing up to that shitstorm.

Zionist Milhouse has that effect on everybody. I'm surprised his poor wife can bring herself to stop physically cringing long enough to let this malignant halfling debate her into undressing, fetch his little ladder, and mount her through their marital sheet hole, but diazepam is one hell of a drug.

Shut it down, the TERFS know:
