The Eternals - marvel is trying it again this time less humor and hit music and more unnecessary love triangles

What was wrong with that one?
Jessica being abjectly unlikable at best, a massive drunken cunt at worse and having it be excused with "MUH RAPE."

Then Dyke Lawyer letting The Villain go for no reason with predictable results.

And basically everything in season 2 and 3. Holy shit season 2 and 3 of JJ makes Iron Fist look amazing.

Wait, they made extra seasons of Jessica Jones? How did they try and follow Purple Man?

By...making Jessica's Mother the Badguy for a season...and then having her get PISSED at blonde friend for killing a dangerous superpowered psycho.

Then..the last season had a normie stalking Jessica because he hates supers. And Dyke Lawyer got cancer and gaslit someone into getting divorced because of it.

The netflix shows suffered heavily from episode bloat.

Most of them were 13 episodes long and they didnt have enough content to fill out all of that. All of them, with maybe the exception of Daredevil, had so much fucking padding you could literally watch it with a phone on your hand and not miss much.

I first noticed this when watching the first season of Jessica Jones and realizing how fucking boring it was. Luke Cage S1 also had its share of problems with the main (and best) villain die by episode 7 and then having to rush along a new even badder villain before it ended.

I pretty much gave up on Netflix MCU by the time Defenders came around, but from what I heard the quality didnt improve one bit... with, again, maybe the exception of Daredevil S3, which I hear is pretty good.

Wow, that sounds impressive bad. Did they have any recognizable villains? I realize Purple Man isn't a household name, but he's still got a high Q-rating than "literally who stalker."

Christ, I feel like Jeff Goldblum: "have you considered putting some super powers in your super powers show?"

I think season 3 was supposed to be foolkiller but he was useless for most of the season, season 2 was literally Her Mother is the real baddy but Jessica WUVS HER SO SHE SHOULD BE LET GO. Then..Blonde Friend lady shot her ass so she was the REAL VILLAIN.

Like I said, season 2 and 3 of JJ were astoundingly bad.

I think the first season of Daredevil was the only Netflix-based Marvel show I actually enjoyed. Luke Cage was squandered potential that chose to have preachy bullshit over being a legitimately entertaining superhero, and I noped out of Iron Fist and Jessica Jones after watching their pilot episodes. Second season falls flat when Murdock goes to all this trouble to represent the Punisher and then...doesn't? He just decides to fuck around with Elektra instead and screws over his own case with his moonlighting - it was embarrassing and stupid, and I still haven't brought myself to watch the third season yet.
Pretty much this. And Season 3 of Daredevil was just a rehash of the first season, except with Bullseye in the mix.

So Kilgrave is the only villain form Jessica Jone and Netflix marvel shows in general who seem to be well received if I'm not mistaken

Entirely because of David Tennant. TBF, Kingpin is consistently good, but he's in Daredevil. Everyone else fucking sucks! Although I do wish Jessica Henwick did suck.

Yes, rectifying the tragic underrepresentation of Mexican oil company CEOs daughters who have big fat tits.
What or rather who is she supposedly representing? Because she's part white and part Lebanese. I know Latinos are very, very mixed, but the ones who are part Middle Eastern are a veeeery small minority that almost doesn't exist.

Y'know, I sort of like what they were trying to do with whats his face from Iron Fist. Le megacorp businessman brought back from the dead with immortality, unstable behavior and bouts of insanity. Dude had a cool voice and I remember enjoying maybe 2-3 scenes from him, I literally cant remember anything else tho.

Ick. Watching season 1 of Iron Fist reminded me of Rogue One. Crazy Immortal Dad cucked Ward at every opportunity just like how CGI Tarkin cucked Krennic.

Yes there was Kingpin as well. But I was talking about Jessica Jones specifically. But I agree I belive those two are only Netflix villains well remmber. Basically David Tennant stole the show (because he's a great actor).

All of this.

For some reason, Daredevil was the only one that could handle the 13 episode load, but the rest of them just felt like a slog. Luke Cage would be good...if they trimmed about 5 or 6 episodes. Jessica Jones I watched Seasons 1 and 2, and Season 1 was way too long while Season 2 was a goddamn boring mess. The Punisher, which I thought I was going to like, had way too much extraneous shit thrown in there to, once again, pad it out to 13 episodes when you only needed like 6. And the less said about Iron Fist, the better.
