Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

Never really got why everyone seemed to hate the guy, but never really cared enough to find out why either. I popped into his youtube channel every now and then and I thought he was kind of funny. F
Paying to post is retarded now. It was exceptionally, orders of magnitude more retarded in the web 1.0 days.

I have always had nothing but scorn for those $10 chumps, and anyone associated with them.

>forced to pay on a forum
>multiple failed business ventures
>lets forum get run over by the dregs of humanity
>alcoholic drug addled moron
>shit father

You have a strange definition of "titan".
You know all about him. So does 98% of posters on this forum and at least 20% of anyone who used the Internet between 2000 and 2010. That's my definition of an internet Titan. That he was a shit human being is an established fact, it dosen't lessen his impact.

Many people know about other shitty human beings. Being "known about" doesn't make someone worthy of reverence.

Lowtax was a moron who squandered his potential of being an actual "internet titan", that's his legacy.

All he had to do was stand up for himself and be a man. He chose instead to be a corpse.
Don't call it a grave. Its the future you chose.

I told you guys multiple times he was going to khs the second his money ran out and you retarded faggots just rated me optimistic because you apparently thought he was going to get a real job instead.

God I hate goons you people are the dumbest smears of pigshit on this planet.
I rated you optimistic because you said he was only going to kill himself.

You mean Jeremy Parish of Retronauts? Dude is a typical nu-male cuck faggot, along with his faggot goon (how topical for the thread) co-host Bob Mackey.

Web 1.0 as an experience is what many faggots here cherish. The people behind aren't worth celebrating.
I can't say I'm shocked.
I stopped keeping up with his stuff by 1up then recently got recommended a video he did on VS Excitebike and I was like, "wait, that dude?"
Seemed okay as a history video, but yeah, I can see how he'd end up that way.

At one point most of the best bittorrent trackers needed an SA ID. Whether Lowtax would admit it or not piracy was a huge part of the 2003-2006 growth of the site.

Well, he died in spirit long before his body did. This is his existence finally synchronizing. You know what, despite all the bullshit he got up to in his cucked zombie state the last few years. I will acknowledge that he was an important player for a lot of things that people like to laugh at on the internet.

His videos are some the most tired superfluous stuff because he decided to do youtube shit when it was already over saturated with other people making vidya related content, often with better production quality and effort than Parish. Gee, guess tethering your podcast to Patreon and shaming users into donating (after relaunching it with Kickstarter where many backer rewards went unfulfilled) wasn't a great idea? And let's not get into the current year grandstanding that goes on during that show.
