If Null could've started a GoFundMe, Ko-Fi, Patreon, etc., he would have by now. The problem is that his dedication to preserving this little corner of free speech pisses off everyone, so he's been blacklisted from almost every means of internet fundraising. And by "he" I don't mean the Kiwi Farms, but Null, personally, has been blacklisted. All he can do is hold out his hat and hope his Kiwis care enough to give him shekels.Okay so I’ve only just caught up on 200 pages, and recognise this was discussed earlier but wanted to suggest something.
I understand the limitations on gofundme etc with respect to Kiwifarms, but what’s stopping Null in his personal capacity starting a gofundme for his legal fees? He is being sued in his personal capacity as well. I know I would happily contribute to the legal fees, as I’m sure a lot of us would. Granted, I don’t know a lot about gofundme but I’ve seen many gofundme pages raising money for legal fees.
Russell is likely hard at work on his appeal brief, so if we could band together to raise some money for Null before then, it could ease the financial burden.
Based on what Null has written, I'd say the three things that keep this site going going are cheap Slavic booze, funds from Kiwis like us, and the knowledge that this site's very existence pisses off those who would censor the free speech of others (like Russell Greer.)
