"whatever" - Ok Ethan, we get it you're tired. So is everyone else. He also doesn't capitalize his titles anymore cause he's too cool for that.
"blissful overdose" - What would his "friend" think if they found out their weirdo, obsessive, troonie "friend" made an album about their death, and then named one of the songs specifically after the way they died?
"inertia status" - Doesn't even make sense. If its referring to the initial status of a thing, then he's probably trying to make some poetic shit about how they died an now returned to nothing or some shit.

Recently took it upon myself to listen to a few albums, the world is fvked, Skitzofrenia sim, Drowning in the sewer, infatuation, & the recent EP that just came out.

Now look, I'm not that experienced with mastering/music making but it doesn't take a genius to open up serum, bash some notes in with valhalla reverb & amen break to make shit. he seems to try to switch things up by adding occasional samples which I can slightly appreciate but how do you expect people to not start criticizing your upcoming album or that EP when all of it is not mastered/mixed. If you so wanna respect your lost one then at least put the effort in to make it sound good. It's time consuming for sure but you don't want it to be just an empty canvas.

to be fair, a lot of tranny musicians are batshit awful at mastering music anyway; mostly attributed to either the retarded bitcrushing trend that's been done to death over the past few years or just poor production overall. laura les, black dresses, elysia crampton and kim petras, just to name a few. forever in your heart is an example of a release that especially did not need to be released in hi-res because the dynamic range is so shit-tier that all audio fidelity is thrown out the window

anyways ethan peaked with newlove, after he jumped the shark and went full secluded tranny mode his works took a noticeable nosedive in quality. fuck this faggot

I said earlier in the thread I'd look into if there were any forms of eulogies for someone he would know. This is genuinely the first time I've ever heard of a successful overdose suicide. 99% of the time it's women overdosing on harmless shit to get someone's attention. been lurking through this thread for a while now. Whatever and Inertia Status are probably the most memorable tracks on this last album, everything else sounds pretty mid or forgettable. Seems like recycled ambience from other songs (or just noise), that could explain why the comments are off on them all retroactively (criticism doesnt seem well received)

The new music is decent, although I don't find it to be very emotional. Compare it to a project like Injury Reserve's recent album By the Time I Get to Phoenix (also made in the wake of a friend's death).

There is nothing raw or sad or angry about Ethan's new project. Maybe detached - but I'm not buying that this effected them very much regardless of whether or not it really happened.
