Interesting. OMM did tip and Phil read it at the end of the break. So we've bumped it back to the old pattern where we pretended they came in over the break.
Curiously, he didn't take Swagneto off the board despite his $20 tip being lower than the $25 from OMM.
It's a sure sign of transparency when basic features (like the highest tip being on the leaderboard) all of a sudden have mystery criteria and exceptions.

EDIT: Phil just said that CM Punk has 'popularized' the song 'Cult of Personality' by Living Color.
It wasn't popular back when it was first in GTA:SA, but Phil's idol, CM Punk made it cool.

Why does he think it was included in GTA:SA's soundtrack, exactly...?
And why does he think CM Punk has enough draw outside of wrasslin' fans to make a song popular?
The answer is that Phil is using himself as 'everyone' again. Phil liked the song after CM Punk used it, therefore we all must have.

It’s really bizarre that Phil has this thing where he only seems to appreciate things due to their links to things he cares about. Like he can’t enjoy a song just because it sounds good or it has badass lyrics, it has to be because a wrestler used it as his entrance song. He can’t explain why he loves some greasy hole in the wall pizzeria in Bridgeport on account of what the food is like, it’s because he went there when he was a kid when his parents were still literally wiping his ass for him.

It’s not hedonism because that would imply he actually derives pleasure from experiencing things and he pretty clearly doesn’t. I think Phil’s ideal state of being is just drunken numbness occasionally punctuated by getting a rare jpeg.

Someone should really explain NFTs to him, he’ll cream his pantaloons.

I can't believe they haven't run out of themes to pose this sweaty man in for gambling addicts. I'm waiting on the commemorative five star gold Hogan has sex with Bubba the love sponge's wife card
Wrester themes don't matter anymore. Scopely could put a stick figure with a few points higher in stats and Phil would spend thousands to get it.

it's funny how he's complaining about the difficulty and calling the game "easy mode" when it's more or less following the same pattern as 2018's replay outside of his performance on "Wrong Side Of The Tracks" (which follows closer to his original playthrough by getting it in one try), he pulled a similar thing in 2018 and was consistently trying to blame the infamous ps3/360 port for his shitty original playthrough and sighting that as the factor for why it was going better (despite playing it on an actual ps2 at the time).

DSP's manlove for CM Punk is so fucking weird. The man was 30 years old when literally changed how he dressed and acted to be like the man. He was 30 years old throwing tantrums in videos because of fake wrestling storylines. He still to this day is angry at CM Punk's treatment or whatever. So fucking weird.

Holy shit, he actually said "mentally challenged" lmao. I know it's probably an accident and he meant his usual "mentally ill" but I'd like to think it's the mask slipping and he's gonna start flinging slurs any minute.

This is a hell of a narrative he cooked up. I wonder if a whale stoked this insanity by sending him an email with the bizarre statements he referenced in the prestream.
I don't go to a YT video I want to see by a content creator I like, and look at the dislike number and go "Oh god... this is all so negative... I can't watch this anymore... I still love this person, but too many people clicked thumbs down..."

Maybe I'm a freak, but if I like the content and have no reason to check the comments for additional info or reactions, my eyes rarely drift south of the bottom of the video window itself.
No narrative he spins to appeal to the dents is going to be sufficient to replace the loss in channel engagement with the dislike button being gone. He drank the Kool-Aid on this because he thinks he's a victim, but I think YT is using this as a means to further step on hate-watched channels like Phil's by squashing their engagement. Without enough actual fans to compensate, it's another hit in the algorithms.

Even weirder is his strong insistence that he has no personal 'heroes' and has never got caught up in 'celebrity'.
Meanwhile, for 10 years, he has maintained a look inspired by a era of his particular wrestler. That's a level of hero worship that most people would never practice. Certainly not while refusing to acknowledge that's what they're doing.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST - 2 HOUR PRE-STREAM. He just loaded up the fucking game lmfao. I genuinely believe he gets tired/winded when he plays games.
It shows he knows there aren't 700 people there to see him play a game. Or he would have played a game.
Phil just said that, just as he predicted, now that he's started the game, they've dipped under 1000 viewers.
I'm fairly certain he never said this today, given that he welcomed them 'home' earlier. But I will admit, I went and did something else when gameplay started.

Regardless, Phil must always be correct. He's always 4 steps ahead of the viewers.
Seeing he was insisting all these viewers were there to see him play a game....................
As usual, he can't keep his lies straight.

Glad to see DSP is still comfortable using "mentally challenged". Keep calling everyone who disagrees with you an exceptional individual DSP, you've changed so much.
What's even funnier is that Phil calls people retarded when he's talking about a platform that he depends on implementing a feature that caters to people who are snowflakes and want to silence people they dislike.

And, you know, maybe they dislike "ableism", and calling people mentally challenged is grounds for cancelling to these people. These people that YouTube is pandering to.

The guy's ego is so huge that he simply doesn't realize how close to the sun he's flying most of the time.

Sure Phil

It's absolutely ludicrous if someone leaves a dislike genuinely because they don't like the garbage content you uploaded, or the burping and snorting content creator

If they dislike, they had to be a malicious braindead idiot, there's absolutely no other way why others would leave a dislike

Go fuck yourself Phil

Petition to stop using DSP's nomenclature and stop calling his stalling segments "prestreams". It's a fucking stupid term especially considering the fact that he's already streaming during them.

A lot of people go with therapy session. He gets to cry, tell nobodies about his life and how it sucks because of everyone else not recognising he's special. Instead of paying $150 to a guy nodding in a chair, he gives it to Scopely and the world is sparkles again.

I don't think there's really a name for it. He just... sits there. It's not the Twitch "Just Chatting" as he doesn't chat. Most of the time he has nothing to talk about, mindlessly repeating the same boring stories (that's being generous) every couple of days. Complains about money every day. Which he almost never gets during his therapy. maybe talks about "gaming news". Translated to tractor... "the last story that appeared on his Twitter feed". It's a total waste of time for everyone involved.

Maybe he can masturbate during pre-streams but I definitely can't.
