It's really weird...the top tipper (John Jacob Aster IV) didn't respond when Phil asked at the end of the stream what car Phil would use next time! So very strange that the business magnate didn't answer.
I'm quite sure this true and honest (and not at all a sock) fan was just so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of positive chill fun he was having that he had to catch his breath and stepped away for a bit, so he sadly didn't answer.

Someone should Photoshop his face onto the sun in Teletubbies.

Hint hint....hint HINT HINTTT?!???

Again! Again! Time for telebeggies!

"Leaving the music in but not listening to stations that got DMCA music on them" Phil and his semantics. Also a condensed version of his pre-stream about money, schedule and December goal.

The fuck is with these post-stream videos he's doing now?

Edit: I mean, 3 in the last 3 days. Along with 2 clickbait titles for his prestream begging for help. Is he about to get his kneecaps smashed by Scopely?

Yeah, I don't really know what this is about.

The music appears to be the begging angle right now. Phil has nothing else going on, and there are no emergencies he can use that wouldn't complicate a number of narratives. He seems leery to go in hard on bills, and all other additional emergency expenses (the lawyer, the shower) are getting mentions for about 1 week and then dropped before he has to address them in greater depth. The BK chicken had a longer stream-life than these totally real disasters. He's going in on begging for money to cover the YT videos with the same fervor of the Save the House Campaign. It's bizarre, but I think it's all he feels he can do right now to beg in a way that won't prompt too many annoying questions.

The other reason they exist seems to be because he is targeting the YT crowd harder than he has in recent history, and he basically addresses these videos to them. He's trying to drive engagement on his channel (again, I suspect this is linked to getting those Super Thanks things), and he is openly asking for them to make secret tips between streams. Phil seems to have developed a strong fixation on hiding money because between the leaks and @Piece of Peace with the very accessible spreadsheets, there are issues about his money management he doesn't want to answer. It's obvious he has a quiet hope that he'll be able to open these avenues of undocumented income. If he can start getting stacks of money he can hide, then... well, he'll have more money to blow on gacha. It's not going to get us off his back.

Also worth noting is that he touts the 1000 viewers as a success again. He must have forgot that the last narrative he was running with was that many of them were trolls and he knew they would leave as soon as he started gameplay.
DSP is here for two reasons:
1. Play games
2. Have Fun
Curiously, neither of which seem to feature prominently in these dedicated begging videos...

I have to wonder why he tried to leave it on in the first place. I realize it adds to the game, but he's had no issue playing without music before.
Did he think all of his off stream viewers were going to contribute more than he would make in ads? Those people are either already pledged to his patreon or simply not going to donate off stream.
The only reason the paypigs contribute is because they get attention.

He makes more profit by guilt tripping his viewers than leaving the videos on YT monetized.
If even one ♿ takes the bait and tips 20-30$, every stream it was probably worth it.

Let's look at his San Andreas playthrough from 2018 where he muted the music.
1636705300323.png

Part 1 got 28k views to date.

1636705375520.png

afterwards, his views drop significally to around 5k per vid.

1636705492567.png

At around part 40 he barely breaks 3k per video. On some videos, he barely scratches 1k views.

1636705555632.png

The whole playthrough consisted of 178 10-15 minute long videos totaling 330k views.
Now, I don't know his CPM on the top of my head, but going with 3 CPM, this whole playthrough would've net him around 990$ in ad revenue.

Nowadays, he thankfully doesn't split his VOD's into 10 minute parts so this playthrough would be around 35 videos long.
Let's be generous and say he'll get around 2k per video. This would mean he would get around 70k views (or 210$) on this playthrough.

At this point, it is simply more profitable to leave the music on and beg/guilt trip his audience.

How badly will Phil be fucked by the tax man? Since a average negress with ten kids and two jobs earns more than Phil at this point

That used to be the norm, the first video of the playlist would always have about 2-3x the views as the rest. I assume people tried watching him, realised who he was, and left on the first video

He's actually starting to think about the content he shits out, rather than only uploading unedited stream footage.

Kudos to him but it's too little too late. He's only doing it to try and rush for superthanks, but it will all be in vain.

One has to wonder if superthanks would even make any difference at this point.
I mean if some wheelchair watches his video and wants to support him "behind the scenes", he can already do that via membership or PayPal link.
Does he really think that there are 100-200 people who are afraid of tipping and hold out for superthanks?
