Yeah, I don't know what's going on, but the camera man is having a field day with the jury's lottery thing. So Law&Crime is apparently still streaming.
All the primary lesser charges were struck. The only ones allowed in where all pretty basic ones to pop in and would be covered by self-defense. It's a case where if he fails the self-defense claim he basically fails everything.I think mistrial is the most likely. Best case will always be full aquittal. I'm interesting on what will happen if the Jury goes, "So he isn't guilty of murder but they gave us these lesser charges so we'll say he was guilty of x". I can totally see female jurors doing that, especially if they want to be like, "He doesn't deserve to rot in prison but he should be punished for acting recklessly." Or as a means of getting a juror saying guilty to conceed to not guilty on the big charges at least.
This. I keep a pot of grass right next to my pissbottle for times like this.Everyone doomposting in this thread without even seeing the closings yet is a massive pussy faggot. Touch some grass, all of you.
LOL it's ok, I love the editsYeah, RIP.
sorry
Plus OJ having some of the greatest trial lawyers alive on his defense team, and the prosecution fucking up even worse than this case, with even worse witnesses. In that case there were also darkies wanting to stick it to the white man
Only the pros?To hammer this in, during the trial the prosecution JUST got info about how one of the jurors got doxed.
Again.
Counterpoint, something like 40 to 50 percent of WI residents own firearms. That obviously includes women, btw.The problem is that the provocation instruction makes the jury think there was provocation so any Karen’s on the jury will think that a big scary gun was provocation even though it clearly isn’t.
You got no argument from me here. But we're working with very limited data: all we have are streams with notoriously shitty audio.Putting their faith on the jury on a case where the sitting President and every media company have a strong opinion against them was a bad idea.
Easy there. I don't want to hand people copium, but these are Karens from a County with fewer than 200k inhabitants. They are a lot more likely to be at least passably familiar with guns than your average Starbucks Karen from Madison or Milwaukee, particularly if they lean older than 30.The problem is that the provocation instruction makes the jury think there was provocation so any Karen’s on the jury will think that a big scary gun was provocation even though it clearly isn’t.
TMI, we all know you want to crawl in for warmth. Why are offices so cold? But yes, are closing arguments going on today or is that going to be a Tuesday thing?LOL it's ok, I love the edits
The larger worry is that it leaves open the door to them determining that Kyle must have provoked soooomehow, making them more open to a hardline guilty vote juror convincing them to switch.Counterpoint, something like 40 to 50 percent of WI residents own firearms.
I’m guessing part of the jury own guns and at least one of them made up their mind on self defense before the trial even beganCounterpoint, something like 40 to 50 percent of WI residents own firearms. That obviously includes women, btw.
Yeah this is sending an extremely dangerous precedent people aren't going to consider if the rest of the people chasing them on a threat they're just going to keep firing until they were out of ammunition all the people are dead .I just hope if he does get dunked on, this thread doesn't go the way the 2020 election thread did with "Here's why Kyle going to prison isn't actually a bad thing/Hehe, it's a good thing I totally didn't support Kyle, or else I'd be real embarrassed right now."
Even the ones who don't, have frequently shot them. Gun culture is very real in Wisconsin, including with a sizable portion of liberals and women. Especially over the last year, you've seen a massive increase in the amount of women at gun ranges and stores, and not just because a dude they know took them out trying to look cool.Counterpoint, something like 40 to 50 percent of WI residents own firearms. That obviously includes women, btw.
That's roughly my thought process as well, I just really don't want to put Kyle up as a sacrificial lamb for that. He's a kid, he doesn't deserve it.So for all those doomposting
If Kyle is guilty it'll likely go to appeals and enough people, INCLUDING lefties have seen this and figured out he's innocent that this entire situation will redpill the fuck out of a lot of people.
Keep in mind this is worst possible outcome and it's VERY likely more than 1 person on that jury isn't like "HMMMMM YES 7 PIXEL BIGFOOT PHOTO VERSUS HD VIDEO FOOTAGE AND A WEEK OF VERY CLEAR SELF DEFENSE TESTIMONY HES GUILTY" and is willing to talk people into sanity.
What is that?It should be illegal to doompost when the people in the courtroom are having way too much fun spinning this box on camera.
