Man, Ben Drowned was downright painful. It was such a unique idea for the time, but then the creator decided he was a brilliant writer and turned it into this massive convoluted story chock-full of edgy OCs and pointless symbolism. It's kinda like SCP, in the sense that the people writing it end up so enamored with their own ideas they decide to expand upon it, making it overcomplicated and overexplained, killing anything that could be creepy about it.

It's just really funny to me that the people that still look back to praise it either only know about the first batch of videos or just downright decide to pretend everything after that first arc didn't exist, like Nexpo himself did in his video about it. Dude should've called it quits while he was on top and let KING KONG.wmv be the canon ending.

There's other video game ARGs, like Petscop and Super Mario 64 Beta Archive. Unfortunately, as I said earlier, the latter has been abandoned because the leader of the project treated the members unfavorably.

He and his wife have started a GoFundMe for his daughter's medical bills. They're asking for ten grand. Pretty sure that's roughly how much he gets a month on Patreon (god knows how he managed to get so many gore freaks to pay him) so I don't know how he can't afford to pay those bills himself.

Instead of keeping your kid's issues only to yourselves, doctors, relatives, and if you're really trying to find some help, the support groups you're in. Splaying this shit out to your cabal of gore hounds is most definitely NOT the way to go.

It just screams "please give us money" and it disgusts me that he will put his kid's medical info out for that.

Not trying to moralfag, but this guy makes shirts using people's deaths as punchlines. Who knows what kind of sick fucks follows him.

Dumbass bought a house (he likely couldn't afford) the second he started getting buzz on YouTube. I thought for sure that was a bad decision financially, especially since his channel was so new. He literally cast all his lots into YouTube, ignoring the fact that it's a fickle platform dominated mostly by children who have no money to give. Now he's holding fans emotionally accountable for his personal life and the bad fiancial moves he made.

I can't remember the video, but I've honestly been expecting his life to crash and burn since he brought up buying the house and shit.

Poor Moth with his measly 2,355 patrons, making as little as $7,041 and as much as $14,106 per month on Patreon alone. Those type 1 test strips (correct me if I'm wrong on what these things are) are expensive and so is the care, but instead of making 15 second weep videos and filling his Amazon with knickknacks instead of test strips/other medical needs on the wish list? On the day that she was super sick based off the gofundme, Moth was adding a can opener to the list lmao. Might be a nitpick but I'll stand by it.

Why not fundraise for something more permanent and less vague, like a paid off vehicle to transport his daughter or an estimate of the hospital stay since he didn't at the very least get a small business health insurance plan. No parent can really be prepared for a diagnosis like that, but they could have provided insurance for their child to help with this and they cant pull off the "we're so poor and disadvantaged" when Moth can make a hefty sum monthly in a passion job.

Lol, exactly. Moth isn't some starving artist, he makes at least 70-100k a year with Patreon alone, not accounting for things like merch. All I can think of him being in this situation is not having insurance, somehow not being able to find ANY family members who would want to support him and he spends his money wildly.

And I still wonder why he doesn't get a job on the side for this. Let's face it, his videos aren't exactly high effort shit. Being an edgy fag on camera to videos of gore and abuse doesn't exactly require 5000 hours in Premiere or iMovie. He could easily get a job on the side and still upload regularly to his channel.

It looks like Moth MAY be lying on how much money he needs, unless I'm misreading.

Oh yeah, no wonder those undersold lol. Moth is a greasy ass lookin metal head who now looks like an overweight Harley Quinn cosplayer. I'm utterly shocked no one wanted a plush form of that.

With that in mind, do you think part of this may be Moth trying to pay off the plush manufacturers? I don't know too much about this industry, but I'm pretty sure a part of their pay comes from a quota of plushies being sold. I could be wrong though.
