I would say that maybe the TRS guys are trying to form a “counter cultural” nexus rather than actually focus on politics. Maybe plant the seeds for a bigger plan

And come to think of it, even if some of the TRA guys are spergs, compared to Nick and AF, they’re nowhere near as bad. Many have learn their lessons from 2017. Nick hasn’t

Overall looking for morals in pre-christian, non-philosophical greek tragedies/comedies would leave you at best confused or at worst with a bad experience. Because their heroes are generally not someone you should aspire to be. I remember this essay, in short, Iliad demonstrates a contrast between Achilles being a pagan Greek hero, an arrogant and prideful man, who fights because he enjoys it and for the glory of it and a Christianised modern hero in Hector, a humble and peaceful man, who only fights to protect his home, his people and his family.

My understanding is that TRS still focuses on politics, but they also have this sort of network that extends into other things (you want movie/book reviews from a white nationalist perspective? They've got 'em.) but any IRL things they do are essentially done from the shadows. I know some guys who have been into them for a while and they say that before Charlottsevile pretty much everything was done out in the open, and since then they've ratcheted down on operational security to the point where there is a very involved vetting process if you want to join a pool party or go to an NJP event or anything.

I think a big part of the optics debate, at least from the TRS perspective, is that the reason Charlottesville was a failure had nothing to do with dudes like heimbach walking around in plastic stalhems (as atrocious as that looks) but rather was because nobody had figured out how to do IRL stuff properly. In fact, the immediate response from people was favorable towards the UTR people, and only after the media narrative was rolled out did people view it as a failure.

I'm pretty late on this, but the flirting between Nick and Keith Woods is disappointing. I like Keith and think he makes good content, if it is a bit dry. So when he bent the knee to Nick on the Shartstream I was surprised but I figured Keith was just trying to avoid an argument when they were both on together. But it's continued since then and I don't get it. Nick's always in favor of people stroking his ego but what does Keith get out of it? I figured with the political positions he holds and the company he keeps, he wouldn't want anything to do with the Mexican Manlet. I guess I was wrong.

So about 5 hours into BeanSoys latest stream nick calls in to proclaim how he's a well travelled food connessieur, everyone else sucks, NickFirst is the greatest, the internet is dead, optics never mattered, cope cope cope cope cope cope cope.

Beardson also starts off the stream by bashing the military...declaring that his 'participation in gamergate' basically makes him the same as the men that got off the boats at Normandy in WW2.
