Nobody has testified Kyle was pointing the gun yet. I've heard word of it being the caption on the sasquatch photo, but even then at least 1 guy sees through the bullshit.

Something I've been wondering and maybe just missed the answer. Why the fuck isn't there any security CCTV footage from the businesses that were around at the time of the shooting? At least one house or business must have had security cameras set up. I hope to god the defense isn't so stupid they didn't at least check.

Somebody previously mentioned that the FBI got a warrant for all the security footage in the area. I guess they didn't think any of it would help the prosecution so they withheld it.

I don't dislike the judge, he clearly thinks the entire case is bogus. But at every opportunity to act and use his authority he has relented because of optics.

Had Kyle Rittenhouse been a communist who shot three aggressive right wingers, and the judge sympathized with Kyle, this case would have been buried before it ever went to trial.

But instead we're stuck in a situation where the judge will let the jury decide because it's more proper.

Well whatever verdict we get, at least we get some new content. I think that Dr Jack guy who was doing the "body language expert" deal may be thread worthy, and depending on what gimp arm does, he may warrant one in the future. Of course this site is definitely the cream of the crop in terms of potential.

Declaring mistrial because the jury is filled with idiots is shakier than declaring mistrial because the prosecution violated constitutional rights not once, but twice, and the fact that no evidence presented creates doubt about self defense

The judge has repeatedly shown that even if he personally disagrees with the prosecution he would rather let the jury have the final say, I doubt he would overturn a jury decision without a later appeal going step be step over how the prosecution has lied, misled, and broken instructions and rights constantly before and during the trial

There probably is, but CCTV footage is generally terrible: low FPS, black & white, SD quality. There probably wasn’t anything useful that wasn’t in some other video.
