While things are quiet I thought I'd share two videos I found mildly interesting. If one or both have been posted and discussed, my apology.
The first video is a compilation retelling Chantal and Nader's relationship through her live streams from the very start, from the first text messages. The first 10 minutes were interesting because she talks about how Nader behaved via text even before meeting in person. IF we believe what she says, Nader was possessive and angry even before laying eyes on her. She says he got super angry with her because she told him she wasn't in the mood to meet up on one particular night. I found it weird how clearly visible the red flags were from the very start.

The second video is a bit annoying because of the robot voice narration but looking past that it has clips from a now-deleted video of Chantal's in which she tells the story of how she lost her virginity. The story is pretty sad and I thought it was an interesting little glimpse into what makes her psyche work the way it does (especially regarding relationships with men).

I believe she was being truthful while telling the story for two reasons:
1. Jugging by the subject matter (self-love as a fat girl) and her appearance I think this was posted before her youtube notoriety took off. I think this must have been posted back when she was trying to launch a "fat-girl lifestyle" channel. So she didn't really have haters and reaction channels on her ass like now, she didn't have as many reasons to lie and twist. Plus why the hell would she tell a lie that makes her sound so so very sad and pathetic?
2. It seems to me as if while telling the story she kinda forgets the subject matter of the video and just goes on a spontaneous monologue more towards herself talking about those particular events. It is pretty evident she hasn't gotten over it and still does not know how to handle it so she is talking it out with herself.
I could be wrong of course. I know the mantra here is "Chantal lies", but also every now and then she lets tragic true details about her life slip.
Anyway, if you can't be bothered to listen to the annoying video I will summarise the story of her losing her virginity. Again if this has been posted and discussed- SORRY
She was in high school and a total loser, popular kids made fun of her and the "mean, drop out delinquents" of the school were particularly cruel to her, throwing eggs and tomatoes at her. One of her best friends starts dating one of the cruel kids and Chantal feels a very strong need to be accepted by this group of kids.
On top of that, she was desperate to lose her virginity because her friends were having sex and she saw it as validation from men that she wasn't as repulsive as she suspected.
One night she is at a party with the cruel cool kids and her friend, she does shrooms, drinks, and goes to lay down in a quiet room cause she overdid it. One of the cool kids sneaks in, starts undressing her and they have sex. The way she tells the story it sounds to me that she pretty much just lay there and let it happen because she didn't know if she wanted it or not. She pretty much confirms this by saying she let him have sex with her because she saw it as validation and acceptance. I think that's a shitty thing to happen to a teenage girl but things get shittier for Chantal. She told her friend, word got out, the guy denied it, he spit on her, fucking hell.
I really think this story demonstrates the origin of her current views on men, relationships, sex, and companionship. This isn't a big revelation, I know. I find it bizarre that in the 20 years that have passed since the event which fucked her up she has learned NOTHING about relationships, she hasn't grown an inch in her emotional intelligence since then. She is the same person she was at 15 years old (guesstimating her age at the time of losing her virginity).
Anyway, sorry if this was boring.
