I've not followed that case much. How's the prosecution doing?

I wouldn't be surprised if the Judge jumps across the courtroom and strangles the prosecution at this point. He REALLY doesn't like them.

It would just be boring, because weens have no imagination.
Likely, but man, I want some ween to ask what the hell Barbchu said in her letter(s) and him to respond. I can speed read passed the merge/Jesus bullshit, but it's the little kernels that slip out when a ween does ask questions I am curious about.
Things like:
1). What's his cell like?
2). What items does he like from the commissary?
A). Who's filling the canteen fund?
3). Is there a regular inmate or guard that chats with Chris?
A), What do they talk about?
B). How often?
4). Did he see Barb improving during their bonding?
5). What is his Lawyer telling him?
6). What's he going to do for his Birthday?
7). Is he reading anything other than the Bible?
8), Does he know the Sonchu plates were stolen again?
9). What is he expecting in the near future?

Shit like that. I'm honestly invested in where things are going out of morbid curiosity.

He would've been put in glorified daycare.
It's technically what jail is. Given Chris, he's lived a somewhat sheltered life, although the 'burden' of responsibilities fell on him (paying bills, taking care of the pets, etc). In jail, he doesn't really need to worry about that, which is ironic because the tugboat that is spent on Chris, is also spent on keeping the lights and water running in jail.

@Tennis-Ball-Tony I did not know Chris' family life was that antagonistic, however, I shouldn't be surprised. Chris is/ should be very lucky with the way he's living, prior to the incest. He's an ungrateful slob, even without the 'tism, he's a selfish asshole, and you know things are bad when your own father flips you off.

It would be funny if he tried Chris' case and ILJ was in the courtroom and tried to interrupt. The judge would tell ILJ, "Shut up Sadako! Or do you want to wind up in jail with your fat, rapist friend?"

He must still have problems with loud noises.
Depending on how crowded the jail is and how close together the cells are and if they have doors or bars. There's a chance the place is full of loonies screaming and banging on the cell doors. Either because they're druggies coming down from the withdrawal shakes or fellow autists sperging out and tard raging cause they can't handle close confinement and almost no stimuli.

Yeah, when a drunk who is not compliant get tossed a jail, they're usually screaming assholes and tweaked out methheads will just ramble on for hours/days sometimes.

I wonder if Chris still believes he will eventually get his rat's nest of toys and plastic back. Maybe Barb assured him in their correspondence that the toys were fine. I wouldn’t even be one iota surprised if that was the first question/concern he expressed to her when he got the chance.
I'm not sure if Barb is capable of selling Chris's toys. It's not about what Chris did. It's about her hoarding. As for getting the toys back, he might be able to get them if he ends up in a group home. Certain long term psychiatric facilities let patients have possessions. Of course in jail and prison Chris doesn't get anything.

Autistic people often have problems with loud noises, not surprising Chris also has those!

Unhappy with the inevitable length of time this proceeding will take before we have concrete information.
At least we will get some fresh news this week. Funny how I have some stuff coming up and the one thing I'm excited for is hearing some news about fucking Chris Chan lol!

I was more thinking that Chris had maybe been worried that the house was broken into or something while he was incarcerated and before Barb returned there. He already indicated in court that his belongings are his primary concern despite the bigger problems for him at hand.

Stories from The Penitentiary got a response from Chris today. Chris is being isolated from other prisoners, says the COs and Medical staff are nice to him and he does not interact with other inmates. He wears his earplugs often, usual Jesus shit, and considers his cell a "penthouse".
Here's the video:
This video is interesting because it's from someone that is aware of Chris, looked up the history, but seemingly didn't try to lead Chris on with anything, so we get a glimpse of what Chris talks about to, well, anyone curious.

Takeaways:
  1. He was "in Medical block" then went to the "Booking block", and mentioned "treatment" while there. He mentions "Treatment was mostly good"
  2. He's using a prayer rug on the floor, and another one to sleep on/blanket
  3. People are giving him money and he's buying Fanta and Ramen
  4. He's reading a lot of books, including romance novels
  5. Chris doesn't like Muslims or Islam after reading the Koran, comparing it as "Koran being Family Guy and the Bible being The Simpsons". He does make some valid points
  6. The absolute worst thing Chris misses are: Tetris 99 and watching random YouTube videos
