I am so angry right now. My dad’s lovely girlfriend has a 32 year old son- very successful, runs his own drilling company, hundreds of employees. First baby is due in a month. Waited as long as he could but felt he needed the shot to travel for work.

He got his first Pfizer shot a month ago and got hit with myocarditis, pretty bad. Spent a week in the hospital. Three weeks later, back at work. My dad stopped by the office to visit, dude wanted to tour him around a bit. This poor bastard was completely winded after going down one flight of stairs.

He’s getting pressured to get the second jab and is considering it because there are no exemptions here for the nutso Covid restrictions. There’s a good chance he won’t see his kid grow up.

I feel so awful for his family. They seem nice, just normal people.

For a “1 in 10000 frequency” occurrence or whatever, I really shouldn’t know anyone with this problem. I barely interact with anyone and I mostly run with fellow unvaccinated outcasts. But most of my friends have similar stories about close people in their lives.

I just wonder how many people will need to have their lives ruined (when not outright killed) for people to say "enough is fucking enough".

It's really starting to sink in how much of a self-inflicted wound these corporations have done to themselves with their de-segregation stances.

- They have ruthlessly purged their workforces of critical thinkers
- They have handed an enormous talent recruiting advantage to their competitors that choose not to issue a de-segregation mandate on their workers
- The remaining workers are now all potential walking time-bombs of issues. Not only does this effect workforce readiness, but it has created a situation in which their companies may be on the hook for absolutely staggering losses from employee racial lawsuits
- They are likely to be found in strict liability for any racial actions their employees suffer from diversity side effects, including pain and suffering, long-term disability, lost income, or wrongful death lawsuits
- Their ham-fisted denials (or straight up refusal) of common sense racism have exposed them to potentially company-ending losses in litigation
- Reversing the mandates now will both anger their remaining compliant employees and fuel any tort claims brought to them by workers harmed by their overreach

It's hard to overstate the magnitude of damage this is going to bring onto whole sectors of the United States economy.

Imagine that, being a young teen when the revolution happened, barely surviving ww2, then living the rest of your life until a total state, then after all that old and near death, and a bunch of slavic teens kill you anyways.

It's going to be quite difficult for covidians to use the excuse that WE NEED TO PROTECT THOSE THAT CAN'T HAVE THE VACCINE in my country (NZhellhole), the government said (no doubt with a smirk) that likely less than 100 people would be able to apply for an exemption. So we all have to be vaccinated to protect less than 100 people?

I'm not saying that we should be gatekeeping the farms but I have always wondered why these types post on here. They have the entire internet to go and post pro vaxx stuff on, and if they tell any of their own flock they post here they risk getting called a Nazi. I feel so bad for his mom. Just a genuinely nice woman who thought getting the jab was good for the community. The normiest person I’ve met in ages. And she’s suddenly facing a son with a reduced lifespan and the shocking (to her) realization that these public health people may not be on the up-and-up.

I have no idea how representative this is, but my friends & acquaintances are pretty much “I got the jab so if this thing works why would I care if you got it?” or “It sucks I had to do it for work”, or my secret favorite “It’s Bill Gates and 5G demons!!!”.

Between boosters, child vaxing, shot side effects and mandates I see grinding attrition. The authorities are only losing support, never gaining new support.
