That entire Angey Lee community is a shit stew. Try to pick out the ugliest, stupidest one. I never saw a more two-faced bunch of lying, ugly bitches in my life. So now she's doing the responsible thing and she's drinking again because...the meanie trolls are talking about her? Cute that Alanna is going to blame the farms and also make claims that she doesn't want anything to happen to poor ol' Angey, after spending weeks railing against Angey and going on about how awful she is.
This group is enough on their own; nobody from the farms cares enough to do more than document their goofy hill-people shit, and as most here can tell, that's sporadic at best. Alanna spends tons of time either lying about so many things she can't keep them straight, or being Chantal-class delusional to the point that she believes everything that comes out of her own wordhole. Keeping track of her and her untruths is impossible if you want to have a life of your own.
These people have livestreams for 3+ hours most days - hell, Bounty had an almost 7.5 hour one and then a half hour one yesterday. That's a full day's work. And all of these pussies are serial deleters. Nobody has time to sit and watch and capture all of this shit except the weirdos in their community, so skipping around and looking when people jump off panel (often because butthurt happened) is the best way to view them.
They absolutely should be blaming MT/Mukbang Terminator/Ricky/name of the day for a lot more than they do. A bi man in his 20s, HIV+ with children he only sees occasionally, who randomly allows his unfixed mutts to make more unfixed mutts - who has repeatedly squeezed himself into clades of menopausal fat women - should be severely side-eyed by everyone he tries to shoehorn himself in next to. He is not a smart person, and the only thing that scratches his pleasure center is chaos. He has admitted to trying to make threads here on people but he's too dumb to follow rules or type legibly so they got removed. According to her, the "wellness" category that she is now competing is, is all about the legs and butt. She's definitely thrusting her arse out during the posing. Must be devastating for such a competitive piece of work to only come second, even though she'd been out of the game for a while. She threw a ton of cash at this competition,, and no way did her YouTube series pay for it given the lack of interest most of her subscribers had in it.

I'm no judge of these body building competitions, other than I think those extreme physiques are revolting, but the one obvious difference to me is Ilona's tattoos. Other than looking filthy, they obscure a lot of the muscular delineations and definitions. Her competitors don't have those self inflicted issues and continue to kick her ass because of it.

That's what I have always thought. I don't know anything about bodybuilding, but I understood that oiling the body and tanning were to enhance definition, but it would seem as though excessive tattoos would obscure all that.
I also wonder how these bodies age...I'm not knocking it. I don't think it is attractive at all, but to each his/her own...I just don't see how you could realistically maintain it, and then what happens?

There used to be a question of whether tattoos influenced judge's appraisal of physique decades ago but tattoos, even heavy tattooing, are so common now that they're functionally a non-issue. Any judge who can't read a physique for tattoos in this day and age is...not competent to be a judge and would be understood to be incompetent in that capacity.

You can't. As with most competitive sports — like cycling, for example — peak competition conditioning isn't meant to be maintained year round or for a lifetime. It's not healthy to constantly be at peak competitive form in bodybuilding (or almost any sport) and no one pretends it is. In fact, it always cracks me up when fat activists casually conflate "health" and "the expectation that we all be bodybuilders." Literally no one, let alone bodybuilders themselves, claim that bodybuilding is healthy. Nor is any other high level competitive sport healthy or even aimed at health as a good in itself, for that matter. It just reveals how little familiarity most FAs have with both 1. actual fitness and 2. real athletics (no, their Fat Activist bowling league that met for one photo op, ate pizza and disbanded doesn't count).

In fact, it always cracks me up when fat activists casually conflate "health" and "the expectation that we all be bodybuilders." Literally no one, let alone bodybuilders themselves, claim that bodybuilding is healthy. Nor is any other high level competitive sport healthy or even aimed at health as a good in itself, for that matter. It just reveals how little familiarity most FAs have with both 1. actual fitness and 2. real athletics (no, their Fat Activist bowling league that met for one photo op, ate pizza and disbanded doesn't count).

I do, and although I find it difficult to decode his erratic mumbling, it would seem there was a conversation that happened with Chantal.
Chantal (desperate to not have to do cardio) asks him if she can get fit without doing cardio and just lifting weights instead. (I’d be up for seeing that.).
Nader responds “no. You cannot lose weight without cardio because you can’t bulk up your muscles if they’re surrounded with fat. You need to do cardio first before you can bulk up.”
Its funny to me that he has a vision of her little muscles not being able to expand under the huge, crushing blanket of fat that covers everything.
Sara is horrified and assures us that he is speaking vile untruths, but fails to offer her audience any actual fitness advice. I reckon, in her head, she’s become an ultimate vegan influencer and we should take her at her word.

Chantal broke Rose Thorn and this is the result.
None of these bizarre videos are getting more than 20 views in their first week.
Also, she’s done a couple of lives lately musing that her cat, Booger is pregnant by her other cat, Sparky. She took a little heat from ‘trolls’ who rightly chastised her for having un-neutered cats and adding to the overpopulation of strays/ adoptees. She immediately blocked these ‘trolls’.
I do feel like this was her plan to save her channel. What’s cuter than your cat having kittens?v She‘ll use all of it to film, I’m sure.
Not going to sperg too much, but we know she already has two full cats. A couple of months ago Sparky (being full tom) wandered off and got lost for a while. He’s probably spreading his seed all around that neighbourhood too. Not just to Lady Booger.

Oh, so it's one of those "a stopped clock" situation type deals where what he says is such obvious bro science that even Pierogi can manage to figure out that it's bullshit.
(I know this isn't the Chantal thread but this all reminds me of the time she found some female bodybuilding mukbanger who Chantal says claimed to offset any impact the mukbangs had on her weight and leanness through lifting. So Chantal's plan was to become a bodybuilder, because she truly believed she'd develop a normal-weight, lean physique while exceeding her TDEE by hundreds and thousands of calories. And even if that were possible and not obvious bullshit: as if Chantal — the human incarnation of impulsive self-indulgence and sloth — would ever have the discipline to lift regularly).
I've been wondering where Rose is sourcing her white noise sounds and ambient music from.
Some of the top ambient sounds/white noise channels get millions of views per videos and probably do rake in decent adsense if they're monetized (I don't allow ads on my computers and devices so idk who is or isn't monetized). They tend to have minutely different sound mixes incorporating different crisp, clear but naturally subtle sounds — all of which requires sensitive equipment to record well. I doubt that Rose's broke ass has money for the sort of equipment to produce her own sounds. They also use visual artists to create nice, cozy animated scenes as video background (i.e., they rarely just use the sort of still images Rose uses, though some do use blackscreen for people who use these videos as white noise machines as they sleep).
Rose Thorn is also posting lofi and ambient music videos. I think she might be drawing the music indiscriminately from whatever source she stumbles upon. The first one I clicked on opens with a piano plinking shrilly, repetitively, unpleasantly and a little discordantly. (Aside: softer and warmer tones are usually preferred for these videos (again, for a calming or cozy feel)). It's so discordant and oddly repetitive (like a series of notes on a loop), maybe she is using a program to produce some of the ambient "music" herself. I think I recognized one song from another video as being from the YT free library because I've heard it often enough on other channels to recognize it. But I doubt that she's composing and producing all her own music the way a channel like Yellow Brick Cinema does. The rate at which she uploads alone seems to preclude that.
So she's not recording and producing the ambient sounds and the ambient music herself. Is she just recycling public domain sounds and music? Is there a free-to-use database for that sort of thing somewhere (outside of YT, whose library seems too limited to build a long-term channel of diverse music on)? And even if there is, is that database fine with her monetizing their white noise and/or ambient music?
If she isn't using free, publicly available sources, is she paying licensing fees or does she have explicit working agreements with artists the way channels like ChilloutDeer or BLUME seem to? I see her crediting artists in some of her dropboxes but are all these artists actively, explicitly working with her (and if they are, why are they allowing her to capitalize on their ambient music, given her pitifully low viewership)? Is she pulling any ambient music from any other YouTube channels (including but not limited to bigger ambient sound/white noise or ambient music channels)? But if it's copyrighted or unlicensed work, how far does she expect to take the grift? Ambient sounds/white noise and ambient music are both pretty niche; she can't keep stealing work forever.

TL;DR: I have a feeling that Rose Thorn is using a lot of copyrighted or unlicensed work without the agreement of the original sound artists and musicians to pad her channel, hoping to get in with the algorithm and pull in the sort of Adsense that Relaxing White Noise, BLUME or Ambient (or even smaller channels like Cryo Chamber or SpaceWave) pull in. If so, building a channel on stolen content seems like a bad idea.

Oh, you’re in luck. Please contain your excitement. Rose has made a video telling you exactly how to make these videos.
She indicates that everything she uses is from copyright free sites. She may slide in the odd one or two things that she hopes will slide under the radar, but to be honest, the soundtracks (especially the white, brown, red noises) all sound harsh and unpleasant. They sound free, in other words. I haven’t watched the whole thing but eat your heart out with her special tutorial video.

I know this might come off as nitpicking for the sake of nitpicking but this video makes me wonder what Rose Thorn thinks makes her white noise videos stand out from the bigger established white noise channels that pull in respectable numbers with better, original sounds and video. Because, let's be real, Rose Thorn doesn't care how "relaxed" people are (as she says early in the video). She wants to pull in some Adsense but she's only averaging 40 or 50 views per video with borrowed, recycled content.
Also, this could explain the white noise/ambient sounds (which I suspected could genuinely be from a free to use database), but I don't know if I believe it accounts for all the ambient music she's been uploading. She does talk about using YT audio library for this and I do recognize some music in her videos from others' videos. But then in other videos she also links to ambient musicians and credits them. I still wonder if they're aware her tiny channel with its dozens of views is using their music; Rose Thorn's dropbox shoutouts aren't paying their bills (and wouldn't be even if she had a bigger channel).
YT audio library also has a pretty limited selection compared to the output Rose Thorn has. Maybe she's just repeating the relatively limited selection YT has over and over in different combinations in her videos. That would be fine in terms of copyright but that still brings me back to the point that she's trying to break into a niche arena with subpar, run-of-the-mill videos derived from a limited, borrowed, recycled and public database.
If she's all clear with copyright and licensing, then that's good and it is what it is. But if she's just drawing exclusively on public databases, I guess I'm just (yet again) underwhelmed by the lack of effort that goes into a Haydur Nation alumni's offering — even when the content has nothing to do with HN. Putting out the sort of videos Rose Thorn describes is the equivalent of selling spiral-bound copies of The Great Gatsby on Amazon now that it's in the public domain.
God, these people are all so fucking lazy and uncreative. They all want to make a lot of coin but they never want to put in the work and effort to create an excellent and original product that's really worth clicks.
