Lolcow Melinda Leigh Scott & Marshall Castersen - Sue-happy couple. Flat earth conspiracists. Pretending to be Jewish. Believe Kiwi Farms is protected by the Masonic Order. 0-6 on lawsuits. Marshall is dead.

@fnaarf I'm sure you know this, but you're right about birth. Walking epidurals are amazing.

@TamarYaelBatYah

Get a load of this dumb bitch trying to rationalize her delusions.

Have you heard of "living off the grid"? Do we live in a cybernetic world with no soil or natural resources anymore? No. We don't, and you know it.

Admit it. You love your creature comforts and you wouldn't give them up for anything because they make your life easier. You couldn't survive a day of "living it rough". Hypocrite.
She can't stay offline for the Sabbath, let alone live off-grid.

I never said they didn't have diseases. You're trying to deflect. I said they did fine without vaccines.
Did they go extinct without Vaccines? No.
I was pointing out this bullshit you wrote. When are you going to learn to read Melinda?
You can not name one invention of modern Americans that Native Americans were at a loss for not having. Keeping in mind, that according to the scholar Daniel Moerman, who wrote "Ethnobotany of Native Americans", Native Americans had virtually no cancer in their society, except one: lung cancer, which he attributed to their over use of pipes in enclosed spaces.
Also, not that I expect you to ever read a book or any research paper, but Native American populations have been on the decline for over five hundred years due to mainly diseases. With over 95% of their population gone they aren't expected to last a few more generations. With covid they're losing even more people at an alarming rate due to their various health issues.

Oh, and Daniel wasn't a scholar. I guess I can add that to the ever growing list of things you don't know the definition of. Also, his works was on the placebo effect of the so called "medicines" Natives used. Intellectual dishonesty at it's finest.

For fucks sake, I said trace your dick on a paper and you got all wound up. I'm satisfied with my sex life with Marshall, don't flatter yourself. Even though you're quite the aggresive type who therefore, probably would be able to pull off some BDSM manuevers, Marshall is way more cowboy than you, and much more able to act that role. You seem to immature to saddle a 36 year old woman.

You're satisfied with your sex life with marshall you say? Then why are you asking anonymous strangers online for outlines of their cocks? There was this guy in Japan, a creep, some "healer" type that would paint womens' pussies with ink and then press a piece of paper into the ink, getting a "stamp" of their pussy. Pretty fucking creepy, huh? Pretty much the same thing you were asking for, you fucking creep.

Hey marshall, has she been a little bit more frisky than normal today? I bet she has! Who do you think she was thinking of? She wasn't thinking of you. You know most women, when they fantasize sexually about men, the man in their fantasy is often... faceless. Like me. I imagine most of the women lurking, and even a few of the men, understood what I was doing with that last post of mine. It probably went right over poor marshall's head, huh? Like the fact there's no way that blond child could possibly be his goes over his head. Paternity tests aren't that expensive anymore, tough guy. I bet you're too scared to even test it. Hey marshall, I bet she freaks tf out if you tell her you want a paternity test.

I'm not sure wtf you mean by "cowboy" so I'll just take your word for that. No argument here. They're all just a buncha fags these days anyways. Marshall is definitely more broke-buck mountain than I am. I bet he's been fantasizing about my cock too.

How are you almost 40 and still seriously into BDSM? I experimented with that sort of relationship when I was younger, like early-mid 20's. Took that shit all the way to TPE, this was actually her idea. I can do it, but it makes me uncomfortable. I don't need to be telling everyone what to do all the time, that's not what attracts me to power. What attracts me to power is taking away someone else's ability to tell me what to do all the time. I don't need to be in charge, I just don't want anyone in charge of me. So why would I still be interested in something as pedestrian as BDSM? I suppose I could always revisit it at some point in the future, but why? I was already done with that shit long before fifty shades of grey ever came out. I'm generally ahead of the curve, but not always. It's much more fun being in a relationship where you both look at each other as equals, you both know that you're there for each other, you respect each other's boundaries. That's much more fun, imo.

I was going to write a longer reply, and possibly even trace out my own schlong, but then decided it was too much effort to butt heads against several issues I have with Melinda's takes on forestry, diseases and vaccines. Especially since we're on page 1322 and it seems just to generate general "no u" back and forth. So I'll just ask this: @Baby Yoda where do you keep finding those adorable images?
I just google "cute animals". In this case I discovered pygmy possums.

@TamarYaelBatYah
Because I follow The Torah, the fruit of my womb is blessed.
It's a bit early to say if they're blessed or not, apart from the handicapped one.
Elijah resurrected a boy from the dead.... and as "Bible believers", Pioneers believed in the "laying on of hands". More than one Pioneer wrote an account of people being raised from the dead. It's not exclusive to the medical field.
The fact that you didn't have to rely on your local pastor to actually be blessed with gifts if the Spirit is miraculous in and of itself.
Virginia has trees everywhere that have nothing to do with anyone planting them. They just keep growong, even after centuries of logging.
That's not how it works, dipshit. Do some minor Googling on the devastation of the timber industry on New England. Read this article about chestnut trees and coal mining.
Yes, please go ask a Pioneer woman how having freedom to move around her own Cabin was more painful than modern doctors who confine women down in hospital beds.
Where did I say hospital births were the be all end all of birthing for women? The point is that placental abruption, breech births, wrapped cords etcetera are easily taken care of with modern medicine. A competent ob/gyn can turn a traumatic ordeal into a safe, low-pain, happy labor. Besides, women aren't generally strapped into beds and forced to give birth laying down anymore, this isn't the Victorian era.
Just copying and pasting what I say about Patriarchy doesn't validate you. Your conclusion doesn't even match your claim.
The claim is that you're a misogynist who believes women should not be allowed to self-determine. The conclusion is that you're a misogynist who believes women should not be allowed to self-determine. Very easy to come to with the amount of detail you've given us over the past year or so.
Stay in your lane. You know nothing about being a mother. It looks as bad as some bratty ass 17 year old girl who tries to tell her mother how to run her house.
Since you know nothing about being a judge, lawyer, barista, mechanic, veterinarian, normal human woman etc etc I expect you to hold yourself to the same standard and shut the fuck up instead of blabbing your mouth with criticisms. Wait, you're a hypocrite. Oops.

reports she is living in poverty with a semi-employed child abuser and that between daily internet slap fights with New Zealand agricultural enthusiasts and trips to Dollar General, she is inventing her own religion of Mountain Jewry.

What specific cult or breakaway branch is Mel following? I want to have Mr. Wasserburg give it a once-over. He's a priest of the Order of Melchizedek or somesuch Jew Jedi title.
She follows her own shit basically she claims to be a Netzarim jew which means the torah is still valid and should be followed, the Ten Commandments are christian bs, and paul and peter are assholes and not real or something. Also she believes in ‘covenants’ not marriage which means she dumps Marshall a lot.

Mel, having never been in a birthing room in a modern hospital, doesn't realize that they are larger than some pioneer cabin, that the expectant mother is given whatever she wants, can have whoever she wants, or doesn't want in the room, is free to move about however she chooses, can birth in whatever position she is most comfortable or finds most effective, can have lots of drugs, some drugs, or no drugs at all, she really only has an outdated stereotypical strawman understanding of the whole hospital birth process. Much like everything else outside of her little fantasy bubble. I feel so sorry for the children fo whom she is the only source of education. They have no chance.

The newer epidurals here are pretty amazing. You can have a full dose and still walk around. No more catheder and stuck on the bed, at least not unless things go badly and they need to up the drugs for an emerency procedure. There's also the option in many places of a homebirth with a medically qualified midwife and a transfer plan, so you can stay home until and unless things go sideways, at which point a medical professional can move you smoothly to emergency help. Definitely not my cup of tea, but something the typical pioneer woman would have killed for: a 99.9% chance of having a healthy baby and healthy mama at the end of the birthing experience.

Birth in Torah is painful and dangerous. Rachel died birthing Benjamin and called him ben-oni -- son of my pain. Eve was cursed with pain in childbirth as Adam was cursed to work the land. It's a little odd, but it wasn't until pain medication became an option that anyone thought to pretend it was anything other than a frightening and painful experience.

Here they're up to 50ft. by 50ft. Though smaller towns you'll of course have smaller rooms.

Look far be it from me to extoll the benefits of modern medicine. yes there are accidents and yes sometimes doctors fuck up a diagnosis but to take that and say ‘modern tech is useless’ is Ted K. Crazy. id rather take my chances with modern medicine over prayer and herbs. Of course Mel believing ‘Elohim watches over me’ wouldn’t because the fake jew really thinks her god has nothing better to do than listen to her rants. Which is why KF is still here and her lawsuits keep being dismissed. I would love to know how she copes with that.

to sum up yes modern medicine isn’t perfect but it’s a lot better option to crossing your fingers and picking some mushrooms you luddite freak.

And yet why is it that I've seen you write paragraph upon paragraph of why inventive, creative women should toss their dreams aside for babymaking, and seen hardly that volume of irritation for billionaires? You seem to have a special vitriol for women who live outside of the narrow margins you have declared as "normal" and "natural". Very patriarchal of you.
That’s because she’s jealous of any woman who can feed herself or her children with earned $ instead of her boob or a SNAP card.

Mel said:
Vaccines - which are poison in a stick - are incapable of wiping out disease.
Inaccurate.
First, vaccines are not poison (disease), they are inactivated (you can say dead but viruses aren't fully alive) viruses. You "show them" to the immune system so it can "inspect" them and figure out how to recognize, attack and destroy them without having to do it against an active virus that's already attacking the organism.
Second, some diseases - most notably smallpox - were eradicated thanks to vaccines.

It's just incorrectly identifying someone as being dead. It happens. Sometimes such people are even buried. It was so widespread people invented some preventive measures.

Ah, safety coffins. Doomed by incompetence, Saved by the bell. Remember legends of vampires as well. Those are also fun. The decomposing body has longer hair and nails due to skin shrinkage? Gotta make sure to dig up that grave and throw a stake in to end the curse. They were such a cute group of overly superstitious people.

I stop breathing in my sleep quite often which scares the shit out of my wife when she notices and any of my exes that noticed. It's not like people back then knew what sleep apnea was.
