Call of Duty Thread - Potential return to form? Or nothing but cope on the horizon? You decide!

Friend had me over to his house and it was basically an attempt to get me to "try" Vanguard, love it and buy it.

Holy SHit, I don't know what he see's in the Zombies mode. It was total fucking dogshit. That's not even getting into the rest of Vanguard being total fucking shit, but he actually is trying to convince himself this verison of Zombies is the best...

Anyways, I told him I'm not getting it and holding out for Halo Infinite (kind of a lie, but I am interested in it more than this) and it seemed like he forgot about it coming out because he immediately wanted to play Halo 2 afterwards and got super excited for Infinite lmfao.

Yeah, you're right. I'm asking for too much from Activision. Guess I'll continue to use Battlefield V to live my dreams as a female commando WW2 soldier.

Fun fact: Bea Arthur was a truck driver in WW2.

The only ties are the characters and having missions set in South America, even then this one will be going against the drug cartels instead of the Russians. The first reboot wasn't even a retread of the original Modern Warfare since there was no Russian Civil War or capturing a Middle Eastern dictator.

Yeah, this one looks to be continuing the more realistic approach for the campaign that MW2019 went for, rather than being "the first one on steroids" that the OG MW2 was. At the very least, the whole game looks to be more interesting compared to the boring retreads that were Cold War and Vanguard.

I hope they take more risks with the multiplayer and add vehicles and a better Squad Mode/Survival. Ground war (?) could have been a cool alternaitve to BF if it had a ping system and more vehicles instead of being another headless chicken mode.

iirc multiplayer's also free, so no harm in trying I guess...
