Jim Sterling / James "Stephanie" Sterling / James Stanton/Sexton & in memoriam TotalBiscuit (John Bain) - One Gaming Lolcow Thread

Jim makes it sound like its only a matter of months until every organisation in Blighty is full staffed by bigots who spend their free time lynching poor innocent troons.
It's ironic really, because the BBC is one of the biggest purveyors of wokeshit in the country. The BBC shows performative 'even-handedness' by putting out articles that appease the fringe elements of both sides of the political spectrum. So for every article that the troons get up in arms about, there's a 'No Whites Allowed' internship for the English Defense League to kick off about. It farms clicks well enough.

Sub Report for the week starting November 8th, 2021:

Tues: Jimpressions ('Popeye', 113k views)
Wed: ---
Thu: ---
Fri: ---
Sat: ---
Sun: -1k Subs

Subs left til -100k
: 23k

This is the closest Jim has come all year to making it through a week without a sub drop. He technically did manage 10 days cumulatively, but thankfully in the 11th hour on Sunday night it ticked down once again.

It's too soon to say for sure, but I suspect his NFT JQ may have attracted some fresh blood to the channel, as it's the current hot topic for low-IQ individuals to chimp out over and that video has higher views than usual --as does his follow-up Jimpressions, which rarely break 100k so fast, especially for something as bland as a Popeye game-- but if that is the case I don't expect them to stick around for long.

Rate me optimistic if you must, but I think even the BBC are recognising troons are a different breed of crazy.

Performative wokeness like hiring quotas are dumb and unacceptable but ultimately harmless from a business perspective. At least you know if you hire a black dude odds are he'll do the presenting job the same as anyone else; same with a woman, gay dude, Muslim, wheelchair...whatever. But what people are starting to realise more and more with troons --entirely thanks to troons, themselves, I might add-- is just how volatile they are and that it's a matter of when, not if, something is gonna set them off.

I imagine the BBC and many other orgs took a look at the Netflix shitshow following The Closer and decided enough is enough.

I feel like most people here have never even seen a troon in the flesh unless they went to uni or live in the American colony of London. Outside of that they're practically unheard of outside of the one local weirdo everyone made fun of in the past.

I agree, having grown up in a countryside village and moved to a city, the difference in the amount of alphabet people between the two places is absolutely night and day. When I was at secondary school (12-18 Y/O for American readers) there were 2 gay lads, a lesbian and a couple of girls who claimed bisexuality for attention. When I moved to university, almost every other person was some flavour of LGBTQPIA+-^6.

I'm in agreement with Null on a point he made in some stream a while ago, troons are almost a favourable hire for a business. They have a great diversity image (Trans Woman, 'Neurodivergent' etc), a male brain when it comes to problem solving and little or no family commitments. For the kind of research rat, menial shit jobs that media internships usually entail these are pretty ideal traits. In terms of public facing roles less so, but I can see at least BBC Three having a trans lead for some sort of show, that channel panders as hard as it possibly can to wokesters.

I also agreed with Null when he said that, especially since I think a lot of them secure these positions before they troon out, but as the troon question becomes more and more polarised and public opinion shifts I can see it reaching a point where they're just not worth the hassle.

While the autist-to-troon pipeline is very real, I'm sure there are plenty of garden-variety rainmen you can also hire without the tranny component that creates issues.

Almost a favorable hire. You get to check a lot of boxes, but at the same time you get someone who has an incredibly high chance of causing workplace drama, and someone who's liable to break down and need "self care" on the regular and therefore is less productive as a worker. And that's completely disregarding their constant, often unreasonable (and financially draining) demands for their workplace environment.

What we're seeing here is the age old problem of early adopters. Sure, they get to boast about their new toys (be they phones or "diverse" workplaces), but then they have to face the unforeseen kinks, problems, malfunctions and/or financial consequences of striving for some new and mostly untested thing.

While the autist-to-troon pipeline is very real, I'm sure there are plenty of garden-variety rainmen you can also hire without the tranny component that creates issues.
(Editing in a quote to avoid doubleposting.)

The problem is that the garden-variety Rainmen are the targets the Gendercult have been gunning for. In decades past, most idiots wearing striped socks in Current Year would be building model railways or elaborate WWII dioramas* in their basements instead.

*There's a damn good reason you're seeing so many troons in Warhammer painting circles these days. The autism was always there, but it's being coopted into gender politics.

Sad but true. Tabletop gaming in general has been totally co-opted by People of Gender. Interestingly, Warhammer in general seems to be the only gaming-adjacent topic that Jimbo hasn't looked into. There's plenty of stuff in there for him to complain about, I wonder if he'll ever touch it?

Time Stamps

0:00-0:12 - unfunny intro of a commercial with the line “I could do with the D”
00:20-1:00 - Jim, one of the ugliest creatures on earth, is trying to make his ugly toy feel better by showing the GTA remake
1:00-1:20 - GTA is so ugly, that Jim had to write this episode ASAP
1:20-2:20- Jim shows slow motion of GTA gameplay
2:20-2:21 - the commercial from the intro again
2:21-3:20 - Jim calls the game awful and creep. Jim's argument is so bad, that he even admits that some people say it looks great and himself says it looks fine on the switch
3:20-4:30 - Jim talks about the bugs and Rockstar removing the old version of the games.
4:30-5:50 - Jim shits on the music industry for not licensing the music tracks. Talks about the cut songs. Spends too much time on Electric Light Orchestra…
5:50-8:00 - Jim is triggered because some cheats were removed and spelling mistakes. Talks about Hot Coffee being present on the game.
8:00-9:25- Jim shits on Rockstar launcher and other game launchers…
9:25-12:36 - Jim says the game is buggy and a laughing stock, talks about the user reviews, how low they are and that rockstar deserves it
12:36-14:01 - Jim plays with his toys while shitting on rockstar, plugs his old videos
14:01-14:18 - Jim awfully sings

🏆 Jim's argument is so weak, it only lasts 3:05 minutes.

tl;dr: the GTA games and Rockstar are so ugly, Jim might start dating them.

A surprisingly tolerable and straightforward episode today. No capitalism or gender fluff, just 14 minutes of breaking down every problem found so far with the new GTA definitive trilogy.
I'd chalk it up as a win if other channels hadn't already broke it down, better, while this lazy fuck waited til Monday to cover it.

You'd think if Jim was genuinely concerned about protecting consumers he wouldn't have waited til the day he is contractually obligated to upload to warn his audience about what a shit heap the incredibly anticipated GTA remaster is.
