Yeah they don't handle it all that well. If it were up to me there'd be an optional familiarity week at the start of blue phase in OSUT where left-handed shooters that were struggling could get one on one training and then fall back into another basic company just entering blue phase. The military (outside of SF units) doesn't really understand the importance of patience in teaching and it shows. You see a lot of soldiers that are close to ETSing out but still seem somewhat shakey on just basic foundational stuff.

Only thing uncomfortable about shooting an AR left handed is getting powder in the face due to shitty Tula/Wolf ammo

Bleh. I can't find a picture of it, but if it's around cover or something I much prefer the technique of shouldering the rifle on the opposite shoulder.
