Every week is Troon Awareness Week.

The FTMs are usually whiny as fuck at worst. It's the MTFs (Tims) that you really want to watch out for.
The worst FTMs are unusually nothing compared to the worst standard MTFs. Whinny teenage/ early 20's girls vs creepy, degenerate, emotionally unstable coomers.

Since they're everywhere and treated like a sacred cow, how do you deal with trannies among communities where you have to take care of your reputation? I'm a d-lister in a particular art community that's littered with trannies. Some of which I'm mutuals with. It's been so tempting to block every single one of my followers that's trans, but since they operate on a hive mind it would eventually become apparent.

The same as what others said - just mute them and be cordial to the least nutty ones on general topics. Mute words as well. Water cooler talk really. Troons are zombies, do anything to attract the attention of one and before you know it there's a fucking horde chasing you

Has there been any updates to the percent recently? Everyone has said 41% for years now, surely with surge in trannies nowadays (39% of 18-24 year olds are now LGBT+, According to Arizona Christian University, Nov 2021), surely this number has changed??? I just want to know if i am working hard enough....

Ain't that the god damn truth. It's even worse when you consider they actively attempt to infiltrate communities and usurp positions of power, then they recommend/push for their troon friends to the same positions and before you know it you have mentally ill people on a power trip having taken over a community. And it's only going to get worse. I've seen so many otherwise decent communities go to the troons and it's awful.

Ignore them. Don't block them but mute them.

If you interact with them, never do so on a trans topic. If they bring up the subject, don't respond to it. Don't bring up anything LGBT on your own end at any time. If they call you out for following "bad people" don't respond - there is no good response to this other than removing that person from your life.

Use the mute function liberally. Mute words, followers, etc. If this is Twitter you can tell it to not show you retweets on an individual basis - go to the account profile page, the option is there somewhere. Won't stop quote tweets, but it let's you see only commented on stuff - blocks out a ton of nonsense.

Basically don't engage ever. They mostly won't care. If they ask why you don't say anything about it "I don't know enough about the subject and don't want to say something ignorant". If they offer to educate you, they will, tell them "life is kicking my butt right now, can I get back to you later?" Then never get back to them. Chances are no one will ask you why you avoid the topic, as long as you don't post any wrongthink yourself. I respond to terf accounts on my twitter and most of my followers there are pro-trans, never heard anything from anyone.
