Honestly, this entire thing feels like Binger and Krause expected Richards to completely fumble the closing (granted, we did too). Well I can't help but think their maternal instinct is also thinking about what the woke mob will do to their own kids if they they don't get the verdict they want.

They also likely own guns.

The thing with jurors giving in to outside pressure is that it requires them to justify it to themselves. This is easier to do the sooner the pressure began before the choice. In this case, it didn't start till halfway through the trial. Much harder to justify.

Additionally, they will have to know that sentencing Rittenhouse means they cannot hope to defend themselves if it comes down to it. Harder to justify still.

Finally, you have just base obstinance. The want to not buckle under.

Anyone in this thread with even a miniscule amount of hope that kyle will get fully acquited is cursed to forever be dumbpilled.
