I'm almost sure that it's fabricated entirely on his part. There was no tip that "just came in"; he's either just lying about it altogether, or more likely some whale gives him an allowance to spend each month as he wishes and Phil decides each day what amount to use based on his current tips goal.He checks and adds other tips midway through the stream before the first break. There's a delay between the tips and when he announces them, sure, but with 1MM the delay is always exactly when he decides to go on break. The tip is like clockwork and there's no getting around that fact.
Maaaan he has been doing that forever. Go check out any tihydp on an anime game. Any of them. Then watch as he gets everything wrong. Or how he was such a Dragon Quest fan who has played all the games. Or Mega Man. But he didn't even fucking own anything until he played them for his channelThere is not one major franchise Phil hasn't claimed to be a huge fan of since I started coming here. Not one. He cannot be arsed to keep track of his bullshit there, and he certainly can't be arsed to have any LEGIT positive feelings about a particular franchise. Almost as if his passion isn't video games in the least...
I dunno man, that sounds 100% like a conspiracy theory. Is there any evidence for that? For all we know 1MM could just be waiting to see if tips are low and then chipping in if they are.I'm almost sure that it's fabricated entirely on his part. If he's at a high amount he will not "receive" his daily allowance, nor even bother checking for it behind-the-scenes because he's simply saving it for another day to help encourage others to push closer to his tip goals.

That is so absurd. He's driving full throttle while staring at his chat. And I love how in the second clip he acts surprised.
There are signs in Dave's behavior that indicate that there is something fishy with those behind the scenes tips.I dunno man, that sounds 100% like a conspiracy theory. Is there any evidence for that? For all we know 1MM could just be waiting to see if tips are low and then chipping in if they are.
The first part is explained by it being received much earlier and hidden until or unless it's needed. The second could be explained by the tipper saying "use one name or the other". Notice that 1MM will be the tipper several streams in a row--because Phil is lazy and forgets/doesn't care to change the name. There are signs in Dave's behavior that indicate that there is something fishy with those behind the scenes tips.
Like how he often will say shit like "we haven't had a tip in 60 minutes" all while supposedly receiving the "1MM/SilentBob"-tip only 20-30 minutes ago.
Or that 1MM or SSB never tip on the same day.
Yeah like @hundredthousand said,The first part is explained by it being received much earlier and hidden until or unless it's needed. the only thing I doubt is that "1MM" or "SilentBob" are waiting and are tipping 5 min before his break every stream.he's either just lying about it altogether, or more likely some whale gives him an allowance to spend each month as he wishes and Phil decides each day what amount to use based on his current tips goal.
*clicks* WRONG!!!! The guy is a morahhhhn who tried to Rahhhhhb Phil, but unfortunately Jeff Bezos called to tell him he was a "lame brain piece of donkey shit" and that "Phil Burnell needs his package delivered asap."5. What most likely happened is the driver marked all the packages in that section of Phil's neighborhood as in a "safe place" to save time/up his analytics and then went around the neighborhood and delivered them in the most efficient way to save time. The people who build the mapping to actually deliver can be pants on head exceptional, so sometimes it's easier to do the route in a different way to save time.
If it is a regular driver, I hope Phil knows pissing them off isn't smart.*clicks* WRONG!!!! The guy is a morahhhhn who tried to Rahhhhhb Phil, but unfortunately Jeff Bezos called to tell him he was a "lame brain piece of donkey shit" and that "Phil Burnell needs his package delivered asap."
So he reluctantly drove back there while Phil was birthing a child on the toilet, and looked at those cheap ass headphones one more time before driving off.
By the way Phil agrees with me!! Nuhuh! *snorts* Sound good? Alright...ok!
Knowing Phil he would 100% piss the driver off through being such a worrywart. If it is a regular driver, I hope Phil knows pissing them off isn't smart.
His driver might start leaving them at the end of the driveway. Or if Phil doesn't have a place on his porch to "hide" the package, the driver could mark them "unsafe to deliver".
If Amazon can put an item in a brown box, they will. Not only to deter theft from inside the company, but would be porch pirates which are significant this time of year.Knowing Phil he would 100% piss the driver off through being such a worrywart.
I still think like someone else said here that Phil just didn't see the package when he left the house, and made up the scat story to save face.
However what you said makes a lot of sense too. Either way he always looks the gift horse in the mouth, because that's just the type of person he is, an ungrateful wrech.
It is an especially bad idea to piss off service workers when:If it is a regular driver, I hope Phil knows pissing them off isn't smart.

When I worked at DHL, companies would be cheap and not palletize huge orders and instead send like 50+ laptops down the shoot, fucking everything up to save a few pennies. It is an especially bad idea to piss off service workers when:
1. Your neet lifestyle renders you completely dependent on them because your dream of a live-in maid failed to pan out.
2. You almost never leave your home and so they always know where you are.
3. You never travel beyond three miles away from your home so you frequent the same business and wind up on the same routes all the time.
4. You act like a huge Karen, thereby encouraging people to remember your name and/or voice.
5. Your name in a Google search takes a viewer directly to all your social media as well as a New Zealand Land-based Avian Ranchers forum which has for some reason over a decade’s worth of detailed chronicles of every shitty thing you’ve done and broadcasted thinking you were beyond reproach.
Service industry workers go for months fueled only by spite because it’s the only way to keep going, especially during the holidays. Thankfully Phil is a huge lazy bitch and so I doubt he so much as opened Amazon chat. He just needed to big himself up for his audience knowing today would be another day of failing to hit tip goals and showing his whole ass on the internet.
According to him it was "pouring rain" and he was getting soaked while walking around his safe-space community, looking at his neighbor's packages to see if they were his.you know that story was full of shit.
phil looked all over the neighbourhood, came back to complain and take a shit
then randomly went to his front door and there they were?
not a chance.
phil either made this all up as a little story
phil either decided to grind out wwe champions for an extra 30mins
phil either missed the package and it was right in front of him but didnt see it (my personal opinion)
phil just wanted a weird story for some sympathy tips.
