He checks and adds other tips midway through the stream before the first break. There's a delay between the tips and when he announces them, sure, but with 1MM the delay is always exactly when he decides to go on break. The tip is like clockwork and there's no getting around that fact.

I'm almost sure that it's fabricated entirely on his part. There was no tip that "just came in"; he's either just lying about it altogether, or more likely some whale gives him an allowance to spend each month as he wishes and Phil decides each day what amount to use based on his current tips goal.

If he's at a high amount he will not "receive" his daily allowance, nor even bother checking for it behind-the-scenes because he's simply saving it for another day to help encourage others to push closer to his tip goals.

He cannot be arsed to keep track of his bullshit there, and he certainly can't be arsed to have any LEGIT positive feelings about a particular franchise. There are signs in Dave's behavior that indicate that there is something fishy with those behind the scenes tips.
Like how he often will say shit like "we haven't had a tip in 60 minutes" all while supposedly receiving the "1MM/SilentBob"-tip only 20-30 minutes ago.
Or that 1MM or SSB never tip on the same day.
And I'm pretty sure there was one time where he "mixed the tips up" and OneMinuteMan tipped 21$ instead of the usual 25.

The first part is explained by it being received much earlier and hidden until or unless it's needed. The second could be explained by the tipper saying "use one name or the other". Notice that 1MM will be the tipper several streams in a row--because Phil is lazy and forgets/doesn't care to change the name.

the only thing I doubt is that "1MM" or "SilentBob" are waiting and are tipping 5 min before his break every stream.

Either way, it is just another scam tactic Dave uses.

Just listened to Phil whine about Amazon and wanted to debunk a bunch of what he said since I know the inner workings.

1. 99% of the time the driver does not know what they are delivering. Everything is usually in a brown box for a reason. There is no reason that the driver would look at Phil's headphones and steal them cause he wouldn't know what the fuck is in the box. If you look closely at the headphones Phil holds up, you can see there is no Amazon label, so they were in a brown box.

2. Even if a jackass could see what the item is, it is a pain in the ass to try to steal something. One, you have to scan that item before you take your route. If the package goes missing, it's on you. If it is an expensive item, you can easily be fired for it. No reason a driver would steal Phil's shitty headphones and lose his job over it.

3. Phil claims that independent contractors have an incentive to steal product. This could not be further from the truth. Amazon is tougher on independent contractors than their own actual employees. They can fire you for one screw-up. They will call you before your route is done if someone like Phil started whining about their headphones. Thinking that independent contractors can simply take shit with zero repercussions is stupid.

4. Independent contractors are getting paid well by Amazon right now. It isn't worth giving up to 30 dollars an hour to steal some headphones. Phil lives in fucking clown world if he thinks those crappy delayed headphones are worth easy money.

5. What most likely happened is the driver marked all the packages in that section of Phil's neighborhood as in a "safe place" to save time/up his analytics and then went around the neighborhood and delivered them in the most efficient way to save time. The people who build the mapping to actually deliver can be pants on head retarded, so sometimes it's easier to do the route in a different way to save time.

6. Phil could have solved this problem on his own if he had picture verification for his deliveries, which would show him where the item is placed. This is normally default for customers so it seems unusual he didn't have a picture to reference.

EDIT: The ability to make multiple packages in a safe place at once can usually only be done by actual employees/sub contractors, not independent contractors. If Phil pissed off his regular route guy, I hope he likes being fucked with. You fuck with those drivers, they can fuck with you back.

Just the idea that they'd been delayed since mid-October but the Amazon driver would get FIRED if they weren't delivered TODAY....gin logic.

Phil’s story could be one thousand percent true and he’d still be worthy of mockery because oh no, slightly-delayed delivery of yet another pair of shitty overpriced headphones to Mr. F.U. Consoomee living at the end of No Perspective Lane. There are UPS drivers I know personally who would punt his packages from the door of their vehicle to his driveway for a year if he called their dispatch talking shit and get away with it because the Teamsters fucking kick ass and anyone who raises hell for their package being ten minutes’ delayed during peak season deserves that or worse.

It’s funny how Phil talks the biggest shit against people who have the shittiest jobs. Fast food workers, landscapers and delivery people. All service industry. In a just world people who give service industry workers grief would get spit on every time they left their house. Fucking worm.

3. You never travel beyond three miles away from your home so you frequent the same business and wind up on the same routes all the time.

4. You act like a huge Karen, thereby encouraging people to remember your name and/or voice.

5. Your name in a Google search takes a viewer directly to all your social media as well as a New Zealand Land-based Avian Ranchers forum which has for some reason over a decade’s worth of detailed chronicles of every shitty thing you’ve done and broadcasted thinking you were beyond reproach.

When I worked at DHL, companies would be cheap and not palletize huge orders and instead send like 50+ laptops down the shoot, fucking everything up to save a few pennies.

Workers would practice making field goals into airline loading containers with laptops.

Phil better hope that isn't a full time employee who regularly gets his route.

phil just wanted a weird story for some sympathy tips.

According to him it was "pouring rain" and he was getting soaked while walking around his safe-space community, looking at his neighbor's packages to see if they were his.
But when he showed the box on stream it was bone dry....
