It feels like splitting hairs at this point but there are mental illnesses that have a genetic factor and some of those mental illnesses are comorbid with anorexia some of the time.
Like anxiety, OCD, I’m sure there are more but I’m not a doctor.
Someone can inherit the risk factors more like for anorexia.
And if they’re being raised by a parent with a fucked up relationship with food/their body, I could see it.

So without Jolene as her unpaid "assistant", Ryann descended almost immediately into hoarding. Good to know.

Nobody should decide what America is like by any of the cows on this forum. They are posted here because they aren’t normal. Many of us are thin or normal weight, have no desires to be IG stars or do anything the cows do here.

That said, as a non-drinker myself, I don’t see anything wrong with putting your kid to bed for the night and settling down with a glass of wine and a book or TV show. It’s when it starts getting into metal cups for athletic games at noon that it’s a problem. I’m sure Tess would be the kind of mom who ate, drank and got wasted through Bowie’s T-Ball game. But she’s too lazy to even put him in T-Ball so no worries.

It has not been lost on me that Bowie wants to do YouTube (like many kids) but picked eating snacks as his topic. Mom isn’t saying no to that.

I wouldn't doubt if Tess was trying to push her friends to post it all on Depop for her; that's what she's done with her old, wrinkled, stretched out clothes in the past. But that takes a lot of time and effort, plus follow through on Tess’s part.
