big optimism

it doesn't really matter how hardcore and based the locals are in your place, all that needs to happen is the HR department of the company or institution they work for getting enough complaints about employing a despicable racist domestic terrorist white sumpremacist, and they're done for.
not everybody has the luxury of being self employed or working for a small business owned by reasonable down to earth people.

Can confirm my neighbors are like this. They moved from California, complaining that their state has been completely ruined. Their beliefs have not changed one iota from the progressive rot that killed it.

That's true on West and East Coasts but not so much in middle America, or flyover country as the elitists call it. People are genuinely nice, they genuinely get along. It's a big shock to someone coming from or living on either coast. Anyone getting fired over this verdict would sue out of shock and outrage, it would be a huge deal if some thing like that happens. These are people that go to church, go ice fishing (!), they join gun clubs, they have quilting bees and baking contests. They aren't soycucks that fold at a mere threat and the women are just as stubborn.

That's why the ChiComs, through Biden's Stasi and Pravda, are trying to sow dissension in those areas. They want to break them but its going to take a lot more than a convicted pedo, burglar granny basher and wife beating rapist and then they're more likely to go 1488 than go full commie joggers.

Seriously. If this shit hadn't happened in the middle of a BLM riot Kyle's cool under pressure would have been lauded by self-defense instructors all over the country. He attempted to de-escalate, he attempted to move away from trouble, he moved away quickly towards safety after the first shooting, he neutralized three assailants cleanly (two of them while still on the ground), and he showed an incredible amount of trigger discipline. I'm not ashamed to admit, if that had been me I don't think the body-count would have been that low. I would have definitely panicked and fired a lot more shots with a lot less concern for stray shots than Rittenhouse did.

At this point it's safe to say at this point that barring the Prosecution winning three lotteries in a row a conviction is probably off the table. Binger did a decent job in closing trying to appeal to emotion by pulling shit out his ass, but Richards incinerated it and Kraus spent half of the rebuttal trying to repair his ego and the other half claiming if a smaller person attacks you while unarmed you need to drop your weapon and get in a fistfight, not sure how you get a conviction when your last words to the jury are that. Best the prosecution can realistically hope for is a hung jury.
