Many, many moons ago I worked with a salesman who dreamed of mowing down black people with a machine gun. He told this to me openly.

He once sat on a jury of a black guy on a few drug charges. He and his fellow jurors found him not guilty. When I asked about the case he simply said "the DA didn't have any evidence".

It ain't perfect, but more or less it works. When you do find the perfect system please let me and Uncle Sam know ASAP.
The OJ trial is a great example of this, regardless of your personal opinion on his guilt. The prosecution simply didn't prove its case, I honestly don't know anyone who thinks he killed his wife and her boyfriend not agree the LA county DA failed to prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt.

Yea, at the time I was outraged. But over time, with reflection, it's true. They failed. I thought it was a noble failure, unlike the ignoble one going on right now in Kenosha, but it was still a failure.

Not to mention, a lot of their case replied on DNA evidence, and at that point of time most people were only familiar with DNA with shit like Jurassic Park, no matter how reliable your brand new type of evidence is, it's going to be a massive uphill battle to get the Jury on board when it's one of the first times it's used on a case that gets nationwide attention.

You can really tell which side a media outlet's on if you see them refer to the riots as "protests" or "unrest", or if they include "when a Black man was shot by a white police officer." Their coverage helps me know which groups to avoid, if I didn't already.

If you haven't already "restructured how you think about the current situation in the US" you just have not been paying attention. We are living in Germany 1933--only with niggers and smartphones.
No, Wiemar Germany had a shitheap of a constitution that was even more socialized than modern America. Some highlights include Articles 76 (Minimum requirement for a constitutional amendment is the assent of 45% of the parliament), 123 (the right to assemble, as long as you're unarmed), and 143-150 (mandatory State-directed education, even for "private" schools).

I'm from OJ's hometown and he used to come to my school so I was always a bit biased although had the prosecution proved its case and had the corresponding evidence? Well, murder is murder. Also putting on that openly racist and ridiculous detective Furman to testify was a stupid decision, one of the worst.

Assuming it ever comes. Germany's been on a downward spiral since the end of WW1.
It's been on a downward spiral since Otto Von fucking Bismark. The only time Germany hasn't been fucking up Europe and blaming everyone else for it was when the US and USSR tore it in half and fucked the wet ends for 40 years.
