It's the typical black or white, all or nothing way too many death fats use as a major Cope. In their, (willfully perhaps?), speech & thoughts, "Skinny Bitches" pay an irrational price for being lean. Those thin "social x-rays" MUST spend every waking moment obsessing over the food THEY CAN'T EAT! No multiple McDonald's meals, no cheesy delights. It's kale, quinoa, the ubiquitous broccoli & sludge colored, slimy smoothies. No wonder, the HAES/BoPo or unashamedly obese think those of a more normal weight must be chronically miserable. If they really believe that & have no memory of what functioning at a normal weight is; if they truly believe the thin also don't have the stamina to climb a flight of stairs without a major struggle or significant joint pain, I'll buy that some truly think it's better to be fat & happy, (happy meaning indulging in every food craving they have), then thin & miserable.
I have no doubt, limiting food intake is initially VERY tough when one begins that long journey but stomachs DO shrink & if they can get a grip on the mental issues surrounding over-indulging, they may come to realize "skinnies" most certainly indulge in crap/junk food periodically - it's simply a matter of balance.
I feel for those who've been obese since childhood & get they truly may not understand that. And if people choose over-indulgence with food over health - their decision. I get irked when the Virgie Tovar types take umbrage over someone choosing to have a smaller portion of junk food or decline altogether on any occasion for whatever reason. Those types need to get their heads out of their collective asses & realize those making more intelligent food decisions aren't doing so to say: "Fuck you!" to those having far too much. They're simply making decisions about their OWN health.
