Kenosha is actually lean blue, not purple. The state at large is purple though. A -lot- of the blue in Kenosha is old democrats though, not the firebrand progs everyone else is used to seing in the media. These are people who vote Democrat but don't really look into it, holding onto visions of a bygone era. Push comes to shove, they actually lean closer to the modern Republicans.

Fatman Krauss was so agitated becuase he hadn't eaten for 10 minutes that he got angry and was essentially scolding the jury. not to mention, the judge had to remove the jury twice in quick succession, throwing off the momentum from his rebuttal. the judge also told the jury to disregard what Krauss said. even if its for something unrelated, you dont want the jury to think you're lying or incompetent as a prosecutor.

That was the Judge rather purposely getting revenge, I can see it no other way. All the shit that went on in his courtroom, he knows that Binger's credibility was -done-. So what doe she do? He directly says, to the jury, that what Kraus just said was simply false.

The only way a jury could take that is "Oh, he is as dishonest as the other guy".

I've heard plenty of formerly hardcore pro police/military people say if he's found guilty, they'll take it as the people being declared enemy of the state.
