If Kyle is acquitted I don't think he will be in as much danger as the seething makes it seem would be the case. He isn't a Chauvin or a Zimmerman. He didn't actually kill some black person. His real 'crime' is embarrassing BLM and the media that cheered on the riots. He proves that you can go out, get in their faces, put out their fires, and if they try to attack you, you can shoot them. It puts a huge damper on their riot threats. Kyle is a living example of 'no, you cannot riot with impunity, and all the shit that went on in 2020 was not just or righteous, and you will be stopped if you try to do it again.'

This trial is being done to make an example of Kyle. It's to illustrate that no matter how much video you have, no matter how beneficial the witnesses are, and no matter your cause you will go through the criminal justice process.

You will be arrested, you will be jailed. You will be smeared as a racist. The facts do not matter as we can just call it racially charged or lie about why you went there.

This might not dissuade young people but it will dissuade the boomers. You might still go free but that's after about $500k in legal fees, likely job loss, stigmatization, and the possibility of civil suits.
