If Kyle walks his only real legal threat are civil suits. Anyone here knows that's the real scary part in self defense. The level of evidence required is a lot lower than criminal cases and everyone and their mom can file one for even the distress of seeing it happen.

Legalize RHINO hunting..in Africa.
I might would agree with French if Kyle grabbed his gun and went out patrolling the streets on a normal night. I don't want people to take the law into their own hands. But there was a riot going on, and the cops didn't see particularly interested in doing anything to stop it. So what should he have done?

If he had taken an ATV out to joyride in a field during a tornado, that would be a situation where "he shouldn't have been there". But if the cops are going sit around and let the city go up in flames, then someone needs to be there.

If the rioters, who we were constantly told last year had nothing to do with the peaceful BLM protestors, were getting locked up en masse, then no one would care that much about Rittenhouse being on trial. But that fact that there's wall-to- wall coverage of this trial and not the trial of the people at CHAZ who shot those kids is illuminating. (Did anyone even get arrested for that? I'm not sure.)

So, I can agree it's not smart for a 17 year old to be a vigilante. But if the cops aren't going to enforce the laws, then you're going to get vigilantes.

Could the families of the dead/injured degenerates go after him civilly?
we discussed this earlier
Grosskikes is suing the city for 20 million. but he lied about having a gun and he illegally used a handgun. the city will use that against him to kill his civil suit.
Pedobaums family could sue the Kyle. but dude violated like 5 boys. not sure if thats the hill they want to die on
the guy that hit Kyle with the skateboard, well that speaks for itself.
unlike the OJ civil suit, they've all got serious problems.

If the Fedbois were gonna swoop in if he gets acquitted I'd say they'd more likely get the ATF to charge Kyle and his friend with a straw purchase. ATF rarely prosecutes em but it is a federal crime that could get em up on.
Chauvin's different. He wasn't going to be tried for the same crime under the potential federal suit and the feds had some kind of jurisdiction. In this case, the weapon charge was/is the only potential thing the feds would have jurisdiction over and that already got thrown out so IIRC it still falls under 5th portection.
I just worry because our Gov as it is now is some 1984 shit. Scary.

No i understand what you're coming from with it. I agree the push for Latinx has made hispanics slowly move red. I was just stating i know few who agree with it and more who either don't know of it or think it's bullshit.
So you did misunderstand, but it is my fault.

So to be clear, I am saying "Latinx" is the clearest symptom of what is leading Hispanics to go red, not the sole cause. It's just so... typical? Indicative? Representative? of what is causing the shift.

Does that make more sense?

No it shouldn't, because you don't want the government being the arbiter of what is "truth."
if it’s been proven in court that their initial report was wrong, they should be obligated to issue a correction with the same weight of the original story, to clarify. Right now they’re perfectly free to just lie their asses off and then stop reporting on the case when it becomes inconvenient for the narrative.

Probably nothing happening for a bit

I don't know. People can surprise you. Some of them, sure, but I've known people who used to be bugmen lefties who had a pivotal "oh god the media is lying!?" moment, started fact-checking everything, and never went back.
Without powerleveling there's hope for a lot of people, particularly if you've accomplished a little something in life and your prosperity depends upon you being able to reevaluate your peers and situation as new information comes in.

I think more than that it's that Democrats always try to appeal to Hispanic voters on things they either don't give a shit about (race, bullshit pronouns) or are actively against (immigration) instead of talking about things they do care about like the economy. Once the third generation is old enough to vote, they barely identify as Hispanic anymore and have intermarried with whites.
