Pizza Time!

Alright I’ll ask the big elephant in the room question: Yes or no to black olives on pizza?

I think they’re disgusting, but other people I know love them. From what I’ve seen, it’s an extremely polarizing topping and you either love them or hate them, with what seems to be a roughly equal distribution of the population that do and don’t like them.
I don't like them but I eat them anyway if offered

Okay, I was trying to avoid getting into this discussion, but I think I’ll add my .02…

I don’t buy chain pizza*. I tried with Domino’s/Pizza Hut/Little Caesar’s in college (because they were the only options), but I gave up. In summary: crust like cardboard, sauce like ketchup, and chalky cheese.

I live in the stretch of the US known as the Pizza Belt, which encompasses New England/NY/NJ/PA-Great Lakes to Chicago. This part of the country is famous for having Mom n’ Pop pizza shops in every town. Because I grew up eating pizza from these establishments (many Greek-owned, and the Greeks use a cooking method involving pan baking and generous amounts of olive oil), I’m very partial to this type of pizza. Chains are a no-go for me, personally.

*excluding small, family-owned chains like Frank Pepe’s

In Germany, the Turks and the Indians have best Pizza.

Italian places are hit and miss, but Indians making Pizza in Germany? Always tasty.

Black olives can be good as long as they don't overdo it. They're more the sort of thing for nachos, though.
