Skordas isn't handling this himself. It's very much the type of stuff you boot to the most junior of juniors, your summer law student maybe. So making these types of local mistakes is not particularly surprising and is very common.
>lawfirm Null hires makes multiple mistakes (potentially serious) on super easy to do tasks
> Hey, that's pretty bad
> "well, acccccccctually, Skordas probably made an intern do it, so therefore no mistake and all good"

I don't particularly care who's making the mistakes, but if they aren't competent enough to check 2 boxes, put a signature and put it in the mail, then I worry Null is overpaying his legal team.
Could this impact things? Like, obviously the judge isn't gonna rule in Rusty's favor for one missed deadline, but multiple mistakes might eat up alot of good will in terms of going for damages.
So far the appeals court does not seem to be super bothered about it. That it good. If the courts feel especially vindictive, this could have gone badly. Thankfully, it did not. Obviously it wouldn't have given Russ an inta-win, but could cause problems regardless.

It's the appeals court. The Judge's won't pay any attention to this stuff. The Court Clerks generally straighten this shit out. Needing to be reminded to put in a new notice of appearance or having some mild service confusion moving from District to appelate is mundane shit that hapoens everyday. If the problem gets past the clerk with the cattle prod is when the judges get involved.

And yes, at this point Skordas is seeking to do the absolute minimum in order to reduce his clients escalating costs over this bullshit.

That's all well and good, but I wish he'd follow the deadlines on tasks that take less than 5 minutes, and I wish he'd comply with Federal rules of Civil Procedure

Now that I think about it, I wonder what ol' Rusty is going to do for the holidays? Since we all know that he isn't a cool, car-driving stud who has a car and can drive, and he spent most, if not all, of his disposable income this year on The Accommodations, I'd imagine that mommy and daddy would have to drive all the way to Vegas to pick him up, or pay for a plane train or bus ticket. Admittedly, bus tickets aren't that expensive, but I'm honestly not sure that the Greers actually want him around for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I tried to archive it, but it's not working at the moment for some reason.

Russ will be sitting in his crummy little Las Vegas apartment, completely alone, stating off into his darkened living room, with a mug of hot chocolate cooling to room temperature in front of him as he's lost in his selfish, spiteful, seething, hate-filled thoughts.

It seems that it’s technically legal to pay by commission but is widely recognized as unethical at best and downright scammy at worst.
I'm going to try to attempt from any amount of PL, but I worked on a campaign years ago for a different referendum in a totally different sphere (medical MJ) and this isn't unusual at all, regardless of the morality of it.

Russ's absolute hardest job achieving his ridiculous goal (if he really were trying to accomplish it) is going to be collecting enough valid signatures to even arrive on the ballot in the first place. The best way to get those signatures in a state setting, even for something like MMJ, is to pay people to get them. We paid $1 per valid signature statewide and we still BARELY got enough signatures. Russ seems to have some idea of this, but even if he weren't dumb, he's already YEARS too late even if his scam networking marketing donation idea took off. Even if you throw a billion dollars at some referendum like this, it still just plain takes a whole lot of time. Someone could donate him a lotto jackpot tomorrow and he STILL wouldn't be ready for 2024

The nice thing about Russ is that there's hardly ever a time he's not putting stupid shit out there.

He's again engaging in cargo-cult mentality. He's using the same phrases and ideas that multi-level marketing schemes use. It's all about your motivation! Your six-figure earnings are "guaranteed"* (to be theoretically possible)! Sell in your PJs, on your hours! No lazy people allowed on this cool venture! "The leads are hot and ready!" (okay I have no idea what the fuck he's doing with that).

But while MLMs usually sell overpriced crap that you could pick up at the dollar store or nebulous shit like 'life coaching', Russ thinks it's somehow better to do even less than that:

WHY US?
As stated above, there may be other commission-based jobs out there that may offer better perks, but those jobs require you to sell a PRODUCT

Yeah, because I definitely want to buy Russ Greer's ideas more than an overpriced herbal supplement. Sure.

Unethical practices and russell

ETA:

So Russell is trying to get the maximum result with minimal cost for himself. Just like his comic, his pro se litigation, his worthless degree, his band, his creeping, and ultimately, his life in general.

Never change, Russell.

I have a sneaky suspicion he won't be able to go back to whatever college that was to set up his table either. I suspect something went down, because our boy Russ can't be trusted amongst women. He couldn't growing up at school, he couldn't at paralegal school (all the girls were warned to stay away from him and the boys all tard wrangled him to keep him away from the girls, some good Mormon chivalry right there) , and the same with his office job, that we know of, and he creeped in the breastfeeding room (oh wait, it was to slurp his junk food lunch, and make and leave a mess of crumbs). I know there's more details I'm not rehashing here.

While those table days are free speech areas and lots of outside campus stuff going on, can he get "uninvited" back? It only takes one girl to tell all the others, or an admin, "red flag creep alert"

I bet he's not invited back, or however that works.

I wish one of those college gals would tell us how he REALLY was that day. We don't bite, even if my avatar looks mildly threatening.

The more stories and first person accounts we have of this failed excuse for a man help every other potential "intern" that Google's him, and sees this thread, and is saved from ever having to be near this potential rapist.

Thank gawd he didn't go into health care to deal with fixing machines of the comatose or something. Because I bet if he had access to incapacitated people, he would rape them. Since he admits to topping boys too (at least on his gay dating app he used, and by the way the sw gave us an account here for those that don't knowbut I can't be arsed to find it) I think he's not safe to be unsupervised around infirm folks of either sex, not bc he's bi, but because he Always ignores women's boundaries , so I imagine he'd do the same to men.

I don't mean to rehash the "wud he rape or not" argument but I'd say the Potential is there.

"NO COLD CALLS

Each lead comes from a list of people who belong to political parties that support our cause.

Other leads come from lists of people who have donated to political organizations in the past."

Calling a phone number, unsolicited, belonging to someone you've never spoken to before in an attempt to gain donations/money is the literal definition of a cold call, Shitlips.

I don't know...
Thirty percent to the person who calls, and who knows how much Russ skims off.

What would he actually do with the money he raises (totally hypothetical, I know)?

I would never donate money to a non-profit when the person who calls me gets 30%. All of his exorbitant figures just show how delusional he really is. I feel sorry for those "4" applicants shown on LinkdIn.

ALSO: Putting $40,000 as the low end of earnings is totally deceptive.

If you were The Greer's and you had a married daughter and her husband there for the holidays, knowing what the adopted son who files insane lawsuits, disgraces the church, writes books on horrible subjects about himself and goes to whorehouses..I really dont see them wanting family to hear ( and get ill) of the Plights of R Greer.
They might zoom hIm to be nice .

Are you ready to make SIX FIGURES?

Go work for Russ now!

Russ gets LAID, you get PAID!
When he means six figures, he means 000000 counts as 6 figures so you can't sue him.

I'd love to know how Russell sourced a million phone numbers of companies high profile enough to donate to a political action committee. When last time he advertised a position for a cold caller on his PAC website he expected agents to source their own leads.

Did he just buy a phone book and call it a job well done?

He probably bought a mailing list for cheap that's outdated. When it doesn't work, he'll blame either whoever got suckered in to working for him or us for sabotaging him. The best part is that we don't need to. He does a fine job of that without help.

If Russell is able to get any donations he will waste it on his usual pursuits, hookers and making shitty music . This is his scam pac to make money he didn't work to earn , acquire access to young guilable women and get his name in the news . These are all of the thing he feels entitled to but can't obtain because he is Russell Greer. He isn't even subtle about what he is trying to do.

That reminds me, I'm a bit behind schedule on my 500 weekly cold calls to tell people lies about Russ. If anyone would be willing to pick up a little slack in the Kiwi Call Center for me, I'd get you back.
Not to worry! I've got you covered. Just remember, now we're going with the "Russ tried to get a mail order bride from Russia, but got rejected because even Russian gold diggers have SOME standards" narrative.
