The TLDR is that the "child star" was some convicted murderer and robber who claimed to have once played a non-speaking role on an episode of Power Rangers, but his claim was disputed and never actually proven. MrBallen uses a clickbait thumbnail and description to lead you to believe some washed up child star like Macaulay Cuklin became a serial killer or some shit.

Well, Ted Kaczynski is a mentally ill loser on the surface but he is an extremely intelligent person who knew what was going terribly wrong with America but chose an abhorrent way to get his message across. It's the girls who obsess over pure scum like Harris and Klebold, Bundy, and Dahmer etc. who fancy themselves a part of the true crime community when they just have hybristophilia, and excusing Kaczynski's actions as "He was actually trans and sad about it!!" is pretty much the same as the 13 year olds who excuse the Columbine shooting as "They were bullied and sad!!"

Wendigoon's IHNMAIMS video was pretty good (as a fond fan of the material), especially with how he went into Ellison's punk nature. Wish he touched the video game more than a quick note, but I get that it'd probably be too much to explain to newcomers, how the concession for devs to make a "good" ending possibly combats the original themes (if anything, convenient opportunity for Wendigoon to try and perfect the game on a stream). Addressing the telegram codes in the book would've been neat, too, to show the little extra mile Ellison put in (I was busy for some of it so if he did I missed it)
Definitely should've hard shilled it and the audiobook more at the end for people to appreciate Ellison's performances, but alas
