Hmm a commenter in Posobiec's twitter thread speculated that Marshals might be present due to threats against the Judge, I'm pretty sure that Marshals can in fact serve in protective detail roles. That still doesn't explain how a Marshal would be able to get nitty gritty details on the actual Deliberations.
