It's the daily mail so take it with a grain of salt but it does gel with my initial read of the DA's office and their actions throughout this. The Kenosha DA has big plans and didn't want to tarnish them with this case so he let the two loose cannon retards in the office take the potential heat instead.

It is worth noting, the Prosecution tried to add in some counts with a five-year sentence. I think those might have passed through as a 'compromise verdict. But the defense sufficiently pleaded against it, and nothing that is left even vaguely looks compromisable.

So, the pro Kyle crowd wants full acquittal because it looks like things are worse than I thought.

My big brain conspiracy theory is that the DA wants Binger to hang, and so handed him this case and let him run wild. Fucking with witnesses, toeing the line of Kyle's 5th amendment rights, the whole Gage phone thing, the autist with the camera being intimidated, its all the type of disgusting that has to make every decent human being in that office despise him. I do think the kind of unethical, corrupt prosecutor who views convictions as scalps is generally going to go for much easier targets that are probably 'guilty enough' anyway and Binger is fucking that up being as brazen about this as he is. Since I can't keep up with the thread fast enough at work, gonna talk about a conversation we had the other day.

While on break, one my coworkers who is an admitted lefty (mostly reasonable to talk politics about, but he has his moments) brings up the case. Straight up states he wants Kyle to go to jail for his actions. No one has been paying attention to the case at all outside of work, so they ask what he's talking about while I wait to see where this conversation is going. He brings up the talking points lefties love to spew about the case and admittedly does a good job talking about it to where it peaks everyone's interest. Then he fucks up and talks about the "victims" and how they're innocent bystanders at a protest. Being the piece of shit that I am, I immediately bring up Rossenbaum being a pedophile. He tried to deflect it how it didn't matter (yikes) and how Kyle had no right being there. I brought up all the shit we know about Kyle's ties with Kenosha and surprisingly, he dropped the conversation immediately and hasn't brought it up since.

The other coworker who was intrigued the most about the case asked what I know about the case and I did the best I could to inform him of what happened and the pieces of shit Kyle shot. From my jumbled mess of information (was jumping all over the place. Brain is kinda fried after the year I've had at work), he felt that Kyle is innocent and rightfully acted in self defense. We then joked about how he didn't know the other guy was a liberal and how he lost all respect for him.
