I remain skeptical as to whether or not this will be the end of Mitchell. I honestly do believe that, if he was gonna be taken down by the authorities, it probably would've been done already. That being said, someone who is this unrepentant about his fucked up beliefs and has a history of abuse and abhorrent behavior I don't mind spreading the news to people with a lot more power than a bunch of nobodies on some random forum.

So hey, spreading news of this pedobear? You're awesome. If he gets taken down ala Nick Bate, I'll regain some faith in the transient people that is humanity.

Judging by everything, I'm not sure if he'll get taken down this fast. I have a feeling it'll end like MadThad, he'll go online and say something pervy when they are really watching him.

As for Nick, Nick was..different from James. I can't put my finger on why. (Ignoring the teeth and butt fetish.)I don't know, but I can't compare him to Nick anymore. James is worse than him.

I know Anna and some of the users from /cwc/ reported him to the authorities years before he finally got arrested and they did nothing about it until his victim herself came forward, which unfortunately may be the same case with James, since without knowing who his victim is the Muncie Police won't be able to press any charges against him (that is unless James is stupid enough to give out her full name)

I did report James to one of the crime watch organizations in Indiana well over a month ago and they told me they had contacted Muncie CrimeStoppers about it and yet nothing came of it

Oh, and my main gripe with her contacting the employer of this kid that was harassing her. She's a 30 something year old woman, why is she acting like a baby and using that "I'm telling!" attitude that snotty nosed little kids use? SHE SHOULD RISE ABOVE IT. She's only proving to the masses that she's incapable of dealing with trolls by whinging like a toddler.

Okay, I'm back. I described the situation to the lady and she didn't indicate she can directly do anything, but she encouraged me to report to the Cyber Tipline (whose info I gave on my large post starting this: 1-800-THE-LOST or www.missingkids.com). I pointed out how it can be difficult to get anything in these situations if the victim does not personally come forward, and she understood, but did point out that the more sources know about it, the better (since I also referenced @MellowJello 's report to the Muncie police). So I think the next course of action would be to report to the Cyber Tipline.

But... I'm actually mildly uncomfortable reporting him myself, simply because I don't know that I'm the best person to be reporting it. I really don't "know" as much about this guy as some of the other users who have compiled info on him and keep tabs on him, so I'd feel a little weird being the one to go report this. (Plus, I basically have an inability to make phone calls due to some anxiety issues, and I worry that if I were to get embroiled in a long-lasting case regarding James - where I'd probably end up some sort of "spokesperson" due to being the one to make the report - the anxiety issues might get in the way of a proper resolution, or might diminish my credibility.) I'd absolutely love to see this creep brought to justice (or at least reported as much as possible), I just don't know that I can be the one to do it. I'm not trying to sound like I'm being lazy/unmotivated or just don't want to take this risk, it's just that I fear I'd do more harm than good to the case. Is there another Kiwi who knows more and doesn't have anxiety issues who is willing to report in my stead? If not, I can summon up the courage and do it myself, I just fear it wouldn't be the best decision.
