Here's my theory that's probably wrong.
Judge gets the motion early in the day, mauls it over the whole day, when Jury is about to leave for home he takes the Defense aside like what was reported and tells them he'll accept the motion early tomorrow because it's late and he doesn't want the inevitable riots to occur right at 5 PM, that's why everybody on the Defense, even Kyle, had massive smiles.

The idea you think I’d honestly believe that Rittenhouse is a terrorist says more about you than it does about me. I personally just think the Overton Window has shifted permanently and that the expectation that the jury cares as much about the 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defense as a bunch of political autists is a recipe for disappointment.

We're literally a fingers worth of scotch beyond this when it comes to forensics, and it deserves seriously being looked at. DNA is about the only reliable forensic method we have, and even that has a much higher error rate than the CSI watching public would like to believe.

ETA: as Ive said on this site for a while now, I think Kyle did nothing wrong, but he's probs gonna go to prison, cuz that's where America and the powers that be that demand it are at. Just to stay somewhat on topic.
