I’ve been thinking a lot about the idea of the “model minority” archetype in regards to trans women lately, especially characters like Kevin. He really put the pieces into place for me with that tweet about the trans musician in the 70s. Back then, and in years prior, you could still be a respectable trans person. Sure it wasn’t nearly as accepted, but you really had to be committed to the idea that it’s what’s right for you to put yourself through that kind of hate. All pre-internet trans people more likely to be “real” trans people, because their brains hadn’t been turned into cummy mush by the internet and the cult of trans. Nowadays it’s hard to pinpoint who the “real” trans people are instead of freaks and fetishists like Kevin. I know a few trans women as acquaintances, and I tend to think of just one of them as a normal person, but for all I know he’s doing what Kevin does. Just tweeting all kinds of nasty depraved stuff and claiming that I was flirting with him and that it’s so validating to be seen as a lesbian by a real woman because I’m nice to him. There are no model trans people because you just can’t know who is a mentally ill fetishist. Statistically, most are incel cum-brains who transition as a last resort and young people who are brainwashed by the memesis of trans ideology. I know that we all know this, but Kevin (and Ripley, and Kindness, and Twitter as a whole) really changed my perspective on real-life interactions with trans people.

I think troons have always been degenerates. The difference between a 1970s troon and a 2020s troon is the willingness of society to tolerate their bullshit. Back in the 70s, sure there might have been some places where they could get away with it (large cities, places like Hollywood where all the whores let their freak flags fly) but even then, the really degenerate stuff had to remain behind closed doors. That's why you get an old troon like this dressed in age appropriate wear out in public. Whatever they did behind closed doors was their business, but it would have gotten them an ass kicking had they tried in public.

But today? Now we're forced to say "yass kween, slay!" whenever they post their shit online. We're supposed to pretend not to bat an eye when we see them slither into the ladies room or flash their dicks at the spa. Because they are allowed to be freaks in public, that's why you see them wearing clothing too small, too young, too inappropriate. That's why they can have 5 o'clock shadows and male pattern baldness and look like ogres while wearing a dress. No one is going to kick their ass for that today, so they know they can get away with anything. Why put in the effort to try when you aren't required to? Even better, the less you effort you put in, the sweeter it is when you are able to force people to call you "Ma'am" when there isn't even any pretense that you are a woman. That shows who has the power -- and it isn't normal folks.

I actually disagree. I think what trans people need is self-acceptance, not more cosmetic procedures.

I think that thinking new clothes or eyelash extensions or the "right" surgeries can transform you into a different version of who you are is troon logic. The problem lies not with Mr. Gibes's eyebrows or skin, but with his personality and beliefs.

The one bit I will concede on is losing weight. It won't make him look like a female, but it will be better for his heart and joints. I think a lot of troons on this site have awful diets (if not full-blown eating disorders) and aren't getting good nutrition. You ever get hangry, or have trouble concentrating when you don't eat right? I'd imagine Kevin feels an extreme version of that everyday.
