It's mind-bogglingly dumb but they want him to fry as some kind of sacrificial lamb because "b-b-but black people go to jail and get shot by cops, so innocent whites should go to jail."
Innocent until proven guilty has become, "Is this guy White and/or right? We need to fry him on political grounds". Politics has become the new religion after all.

Eh, it's a reasonable question from the jury. The jury is supposed to deliberate in private. I don't think it's a good plan to have them review the videos in front of the judge and attorneys. They will probably want to go back and forth, see some parts repeatedly, etc. - that kind of thing intrudes on their deliberations if it's done with others present.

Seems Schroeder was caught off guard by what Richards said. He paused for a bit to consider what he said.

July the Seventh, 3122

The twelve-million strong tribe of the descendants of the jurors descends from their hidden cities to the American continent. Malformed, having never seen the light of day, or eaten anything except for shitty takeout for their entire lives, we wondered what wisdom they might have achieved in their millennium of collective meditation. As their leadership started to speak before us, their inhuman tongues appearing to strain to form English words, I heard a sentence, and cried in madness.

"Do we watch the videos in the courtroom or in private?"

There's little substantive difference between, "you got off on a technicality" and, "'not guilty' doesn't mean innocent", which is exactly how the narrative will shift in the event of a natural, just outcome to this sordid affair.

But it's interesting that you believe the degenerate freak left will ever accept an acquittal.

He's going to be dogged by these events for the rest of his life regardless of the outcome.
I never said the left would accept an acquittal. I said that getting off in such a way is something they could and would use against him. It would have more weight to it than trying to claim 'not guilty doesn't mean innocent' because they never actually said he wasn't guilty. Its more likely to lead to overt harassment
