I don't get it why are they arguing about filenames?
Kraus argued that it was the woman's fault that the video got compressed, that it's the same file as the HD version, but it was altered on her computer. The woman argues that that can't be true, the two files have different names, they were never the same file, the HD was altered on the state's end, and they sent her the compressed version under a different title.

Maybe jurors these days should be required to sit through some basic tech literacy lecture...don't they get advice on how to look at evidence correctly or whatever? So painful to hear the excuses about 'accidentally compressing' videos, it's like that thing students do where they intentionally corrupt a file to get an extension on an assignment. At least the woman speaking right now is savvy enough to both know and explain the situation.
I also predict prosecution saying that RENAMING FILES ruins them or something.
It's literally a "dog ate my homework" excuse, I don't believe even Binger was this stupid, it's literally just a lie. They intentionally did this to deny Rittenhouse a fair trial, a criminal act.

You can't AirDrop from iphone to android unless you have an app as a middleman that both devices share, they both have to be connected to the same wifi, and they both have to have a digital "handshake'

The chance these fucking curdloving cunts being able to manage to do all the above is not gonna happen.

What they SHOULD have said was that if you upload/email a file you have the OPTION of compressing the video to a smaller format to save on digital space when you are over LTE. Not over wifi.

god help me this case is going to appeal over the utter stupidity of lawyers in the digital age.
