The defense council is being too passive. They are not putting the iron to the judge. They need to get this shit on record. They need to demand the mistrial, and if they don't get that a Vaudier Hearing on this fucking video and if they don't get that they should go thermonuclear and demand a interlocutor appeal to the appeals court for an immediate stay of proceedings and emergency hearing

When people, even from starkly different political sides, get to know each other's names and have to speak to one another then it's a better chance they'll make the right decision. If you want to see how 100s of jurors would look like, take a look at any of the youtube videos where protestors and counter-protestors meet up and start fist fighting. In a crowd you can safely shout and scream with your fellow leftists/right-wingers, but when you remove that dynamic things are generally much more calm.

Here's how this goes. The bailiff gets the laptop, checks to make sure the files are correct, then hands it to the jury. The jury did not request the offending video.
