What's notable about this is unlike Sterling, Rolfe know how to separate these things from his main draw, the AVGN, so that they don't distract.

Some day Rolfe's going to be 70 years old, have a library of fun and entertaining things he's created, children that love and visit him, and probably still have his wife. Imagine Sterling when he's 70. He'll probably be living in a group home with several aged troons that he HATES, being miserable and lonely, and searching desperately for anything that can remind him of what it was like to have an intact penis.

You also get the impression that Rolfe lives a reasonable life. Takes his AvGN earnings. Has likely saved and invested well, and prepared for things like retirement. It’s very clear that the AVGN is simply a character that Rolfe created and plays for fun. When he speaks as himself you get a thoughtful well adjusTed somewhat nerdy dude. Someone who by and large thinks things through and plans ahead. Someone who is in every way humanly (or in Jim’s case inhumanly) possible the polar opposite of Jimbo.

I do enjoy Angry Joe, but that's about it. I like the personalities who are a part of the show and Joe is self aware, the modern rages are purposely over the top/obviously exaggerated just to be goof. Like this one rage Joe did on Valorant and seeing the prices of skins and he said "ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?" staring wall-eyed into the camera - it was funny but also a little cringe, on purpose. However, his critiques in the reviews are well-thought and most of the time the takes are pretty agreeable, and when he isn't being over the top on purpose you can feel the genuine frustration with bullshit games pull nowadays.

Agreed, same with the RLM guys and any other internet celeb who hasn't imploded. As Dear Leader has mentioned numerous times on his podcast, these people are nothing like how they act in their videos; it's just entertainment. Guys like Jim and Spoony are the exception and that's why their lives are a complete shambles.

I think in a recent Gay Times article I read, fearmongering about the 'deadliest year on record' for trans people (45 deaths btw; so deadly,) it stated that in the vast majority of cases the killer was known to the victim; usually a family member, spouse etc. So yeah, the transphobe behind every blade of grass narrative is complete and utter horseshit.

The transphobe narrative is bullshit yes. This isn't the middle east. Troonies are shamed via social pressure yes, but they aren't being killed in droves. Also interesting you bring up the murder statistic, a majority of murder victims in general knew their killer/were close to their killer. Cold blooded murders are few and far between, even in the troon department.

Idk, but I think that Joe more and more starts to become like DSP or Wings of Redemption, and I mean not only by weight gain. IMHO he looks like he is doing his stuff albeit not being really into it anymore. I really don't know how to say it, but compared with Joes stuff from, let's say 5 years ago, his more recent stuff looks bland and stale.
