Y'all think this kind of stuff is new, and I'm power leveling a bit, but I've got lawyers in the family, and this shit has been happening since the OJ trial. What you guys are doing now, law firms have been doing for ages, the only difference being if its reading transcripts or whatnot.

Charlottesville guy? Every single lawyer my source knew was gunning for guilty, cause he hit some secretary and apparently a very good secretary, which is like a unicorn. They sat there in the break room reading the final thing together and they all cheered.

OJ trial? It was a fucking locked down case. All the evidence was there and the glove fucking shrank. And OJ goes free and in this group of lawyers, the only people cheering were the black people. And they were cheering fucking HARD. And they kept cheering. And my source recounts how it felt like a scene from the office. And literally no one knew why they were cheering. These were wealthy as hell, southern bred black gentlemen with fucking streets named after them and they celebrating a killer cause skin color.

You want your team to win. It's fucking stupid but its human I guess. And when it's shit that went down on the other side of the country its hard to fucking care.

Look at Brenton Tarrant for a far right example. If you're someone with half a soul you'd think what he did was fucking terrible, awful, blah blah blah but if he managed to skate on the charges with some absurd fucking loophole you know the memes would be flying hot and heavy.
Brenton did nothing wrong

For all of my dooming I'm holding to my prediction that if nothing changes by noon, there's a hung jury, but I think we've still got a shot at NG before that.
Hung jury is as good as an acquittal in terms of Kyle getting off. DA doesn't want to bring it, a hung jury is a massive egg on Binger's and Kraus' face, there is more than enough to file a complaint with the Bar so those two are going to have fun regardless of the verdict, and all the evidentiary stuff and trump cards are burned up.

Frankly, would not be surprised and even lean slightly towards the DA just dumping it entirely.

They agreed to be there at 9 today, but no livestreams are up and Rackets isn't scheduled until 10? Did I miss some news on scheduling?
Judge was bitching about having second thoughts about cameras in the courtroom, perhaps realizing that it's maybe the only thing saving Kyle's ass up to this point
Fucking boomer

Didn't the DA already lose a few prosecutors who wanted nothing to do with the Rittenhouse case and transferred to other courts? I don't think Binger and Krauss were the DA's first options.

Security guard who got hit in the head with a skateboard left with brain injury.

Fuck, that's grotesque. I've seen plenty of gore, but somehow that image gets me feeling more squeemish than any of that shit.

For those of you who missed it, L&C caught a glimpse of the judge on camera a few minutes ago. No robe, so likely just arrived.

Can the DOJ jump in if it’s open to be brought up again and press federal charges because hE cRoSsEd StAtE lInEs?

He lost a few he assigned to it, then the defense crumbled and he indicated -very hard- he wanted the case dropped. Binger kept on fucking going anyway.

No, because despite the left going nuts over that it isn't in any way a federal crime. There is literally nothing there.

I agree that the prosecution will likely not want to try again (but my have dug their own grave on this one), but really a full acquittal vindicates Kyle and us. I'd really prefer this outcome.
I do realize the only reason I can say this is that guilty SEEMS so remote a possibility as of now.
