Yeah, more of them have active visual elements now, often watching video with little description of it as the centrepiece, showing visual memes or even physical comedy via slapstick or facial expression. They're no longer made with the idea of "most people who see this won't be actively looking at it".
Agreed. So many impossible things have happened that it's hard to shake off the possibility. Doomers are generally people who used to love hopium, can no longer tolerate copium and are just deeply deeply hurt about what the world has become. The last few years have been insanely bleak overall for anyone who's actively paying attention to what's happening in America. The red pill is permanent, and they're grieving what they see as the death of their country. Most serious doomers are genuinely suffering.

I have also been to court (regular proceedings, not facing jail time or being sued) more than once and I would never embarrass myself by wearing something related to hobbies or likes. It's crass and immature. It'd be like if he showed up wearing a judas priest teeshirt or had drawn an Anarchy symbol on the back of his hand with magic marker.

My prediction based on nothing is that Kyle is fully acquitted on everything related Skateboard man, but there are jury hold outs on Rosenbaum and Grosskreutz for the second degree charges. Meaning he will be acquitted on all first degree homicide charges, but with a hung jury on second degree intentional homicide and attempted homicide charges.

I sort of can visualize a scenario where there is at least one irate juror screaming at the holdouts on this foolishness. The video review was probably for everyone else to show the hold outs "See the Kid is innocent, what cant you understand?" This is me being optimistic.

Friends have suggested this to me and I've tried; like, putting them on the car radio for a long drive. Without exception, they have failed to hold my interest with the result that I have no retention whatsoever of whatever was playing that whole time. With music, that's fine, but with something that's supposed to inform or entertain beyond "good beat and nice melody" it seems counterproductive.
Maybe I've just been exposed to hopelessly shitty content and somewhere out there is a great podcast I can actually learn something from, but I'm not holding my breath. Like that other poster, I think I'm just more of a reader and that's all there is to it. Reading lets you scan the page, get a quick overview of the plot, flick your eyes back upwards from the current paragraph to refer back to that thing at the top of the page that was mentioned previously without having to rewind and hope you hit upon the right timestamp for the point you wanted to go back over, etc. You can't as easily do that with audio/visual media as you can with text.

Humoring Posobiec's "scoops" I do recall there were 2 or 3 female jurors who are mask Karens. So it could be that they refuse to vote Not Guilty under any circumstance and so it's the rest trying to compromise instead of telling the Karens to fuck off.
