Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

How do you even cuck as a [Politician]-elect? I thought this was real people time, Glenn, not government time.

However, I'm not mad. GOPe is totally right now. You wouldn't see such firm defeat grasping from the jaws of victory if they weren't.

They grab onto losing like it's a fine piece of ass. Good Lord. And I almost forgot, the Matt Walsh's, Pedro Gonzalez's, Will Chamberlain's, and Mike Cernovich's BTFO'd with their "Youngkin proves we don't need Blumpf" posts.
This is one of the dangers of the GOPe latching onto CRT. CRT itself is incredibly unpopular and makes it so basic bitch Republicans to coast their way to victories without having to give in to other demands of voters.

New GOPe talking point from a Marquette (dem) survey: Too many independents don't want Trump to run again, Trump would lose to Biden 34/42 lmao, so kneel to the altar of Desantis/Haley/Scott/Youngkin.

Someone awhile back posted that they thought that the MSM and Brandon administration are implementing a strategy of throwing Kamala under the bus in the hopes of tanking her so badly that she won’t even be seen as a viable option to voters come ‘24, and they can try to consolidate behind someone else, like Mayor Pete.

But there’s a problem with that strategy, and the problem is black women. Without them and their vote, the party would cease to exist. The dems have spent all this time pandering/virtue signaling about D I V E R S I T Y and have branded themselves as the pro-black/minority party that lo0kS LikE aMErikKkA while branding the GOP as literal whyte supremacist natzees.

Can you think of a worse betrayal to your most loyal bloc than pumping up expectations for the holy grail (the double-whammy of the first woman president with the bonus of her being non-white), only to snatch it away at the last second? To rob the black woman of the spotlight when it was hEr tURn? That would accomplish two things:

1.) It just might get the sheboons so demoralized, fed up, and finally cognizant of the DNC’s broken promises that they decide to stay home as a nice ‘fuck you’ to the party.
2.) It takes all the wind out of the DNC’s sails re: their race and D I V E R S I T Y rhetoric. They can dilate all they want about how they’re the party of blackie, but history will forever show that when push came to shove, they couldn’t back up their words with action, and tanked the first black wahman president. Any subsequent talk about standing by minorities or the mARgiNaLiZed will seem fundamentally empty.

God, I hate this timeline. But at the same time, I kinda like it.

Even if they don't throw her under the bus, I doubt a lot of people, especially minorites, will vote for her. A lot of older Americans have trouble with Women being in charge. They're old fashioned. Ie "Get back into the Kitchen".

Expected, he'll toe the line and not go full DeSantis. Again, the importance of him is to prevent further degradation while the Trumpian Populism continues to spread and grow. He serves that roll fine.
What does "toe the line" mean though? Who's line? Who wants this on the Republican side? They needed to fall back into gracious losers this quickly?

The Moderate line. He squeaked in and doesn't want to make -any- waves. So he is pointedly saying he intends to not enforce any sort of major policy one way or another except the one that got him in.

I understand what you are saying and I'm still mad about it.

Don't want to "make waves"? The opposition openly hates him and wouldn't give a fuck if he died (of COVID of course). Yet he still feels the need to placate these people? They already hate him at max level. Wasn't his literal victory making waves? It's like he's mad he actually won. Is he supposed to be controlled opposition?

Well I understand the disappointment of this. But that also means if a local government in Virginia doesn't want to impose a vaccine mandate he won't interfere either.
Lmao turns out that narrative about everyone in West Virginia wanting BBB to pass was always bullshit
>U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) has an overall job approval rating of 60 percent compared to Biden’s 32 percent.
>Nearly 74 percent of voters also said Manchin should oppose the president’s Build Back Better plan.
I'm pretty sure. We all knew that was bullshit since Trump won the state very easily the equivalent would be how Biden won California easily.

haven't we been seeing polls that say the exact opposite in the past couple of mouths? Also this is form a heavy dem survey.

He would not be placating the proper left, he is placating the center-left who would have voted for him with great hesitancy. They wanted to kick out CRT, but would have severe reservations about his further plans. Only a fool would ignore those reservations.

So, instead what he announced is a middle-ground that everyone in the middle can get behind. He won't ban local governments from doing vaccine BS, but will not implement any such policy at the State level.

Ok, thanks. I keep forgetting that most of the country is still in the middle.

Long-term, it's probably a good thing... depending on Youngkin. He was elected in on a mandate of "No CRT", earning him the incumbent advantage next election cycle. And in the next election cycle, he can mark out what he wants to actually -do- and create a new mandate from which he might be able to actually push Republican ideas.

Or he then proves himself to be a true RINO cuck. The jury is out on that since his tepid stuff until then is just good political sense.

You can't run for consecutive terms as the Governor in Virginia. Now maybe he is setting up Winsome Sears to take over in 4 years but we'll have to see.

This is how I'm exactly reading it.

He's not going to force mandates, but he's not going to stop local counties form implementing vaccine policies if they want too. Basically a middle guy

True, I had forgotten that Virginia was a fossil in that account. Still, it means if he runs again, he has an advantage so long as he left office with a generally favorable opinion.

I didn't know till I read the comments on the Breitbart article about her.

How the fuck did this Kazakh cunt, who graduated with a degree from the University of Moscow during the days of the Soviet Union by praising communism, end up getting promoted by the neoliberal Democrats.

Apparently the Democrat Senator from Montana opposes her and we can assume for now 50 GOP no votes with Manchin and Sinema.

This isn't like some homegrown sheboon but some foreign commie cunt who calls herself Asian.

She seems to really hate bankers, which is pretty based. But she hates them because she's a commie who thinks the command economy that spectacularly failed the Soviet Union is the future for America. Which should be punishable by hanging.

Does the Biden admin ever nominate anyone that isn't an activist against their area of regulation with extremist tendencies? It's like they find the very worst candidate and throw support behind them.

Honestly, I see nothing wrong with this stance. State and federal governments should be leaving these decisions to local governments. If some city wants to be mask cucks, let them. If they get tired of being pussies, they can run their local tyrant out of office.

It's a lot easier to affect change at the local level.

Fucking ouch.

You know, almost a year in and Biden has done a lot of damage a president like Bush and Obama would do in two terms.
  1. His disastrous pullout of troops in Afghanistan that led to the Taliban taking back the country, it was a blow to our national spirit and patriotism.
  2. His disinterest in fighting the inflation crisis and the infrastructure deal doing jack shit I think will be responsible for the economic crash in two to three years.
  3. Shoving pro-science/pro-climate change/CRT propaganda down our throats.
  4. His obsessive vaccine/mask mandates is doing little to zero shit on the pandemic.
  5. He’s doing nothing about the border crisis.
  6. He’s probably will do nothing about the collapsing Affordable Healthcare Act.
