Barnes: "And look, there's a science to this stuff. That's why I wanted jury selection to include measurements of the jurors' foreheads and crowns. Phrenology is not a joke. You can tell if these people are of yankee, scandinavian stock -- upper-middle-class white professionals who are used to politically dominating Kenosha."

And all of a sudden everyone is a handwriting psychologist. Somehow I doubt that the jury really sees a distinction between "put down" and "dropped", but that's just me.
There is a reason I am ignoring the note beyond just what was in it. Handwriting and phrasing is -incredibly- finicky and imprecise to the point its useless unless you have a much, -much- larger body of work.

The foreman may also be preventing votes from being called.
I remember an old CSI Original Flavor episode where the foreman of a jury died, and it was a big whodunit because all the other jurors hated him because he was the lone holdout and wouldn't take a vote. One stripper juror tried to seduce him, one put peanut butter (he was allergic) in his food, etc. etc. and ultimately it turned out he got stung by a bee, to which he was also allergic. That'd be fun if it happened here.

MBTI is a mediocre generalization of personality that is only ever “sort of right” per person. The community is horrendous and probably deserves a community watch thread. I know all YouTube comments are shit but just go to one of the “mbti tubers” and read the comments on their videos. The only funny thing about MBTI memes is that the redditor who made it actually thought it was funny. Not to mention all the types love touting all their super rare statistics about their type, like whichever type is currently considered the “rarest” somehow is also the most common in online discussion. Bonus is the shitty videos like “the DARK SIDE of infj!!!”

So seeing that the jury is requesting to see the drone stuff now. I wonder if judge is gonna get off his ass and do a reasonable jus- ah who the hell am I kidding. He's just going to do some lukewarm resolution and prosecution is gonna talk his ear off into letting it go through.

He's the Trump of boomer judges. All talk (and the right kind of talk, so the left goes nuts in hate against him, and the right OMG BASTEizes him), but when push comes to shove no action and he meekly folds and allows the system and its golems to do what they were designed for. In retrospect watching him shit all over the prosecution but then refuse to exercise any of the tangible powers he has as remedy is no different than Trump tweeting out LAW & ORDER from his bunker over and over and over as the country burns around him. The first time you see it you think "Amen brother, finally someone gets it, GODSPEED GET AT IT." But nothing happens. Then you see it again and you think "yeah, we get it, YOU HAVE THE POWER TO RESTORE IT. DO IT." Nothing happens. By the 3rd time you actually realize it does more harm than good, as impotently opposing something is more emboldening to the bad guys than saying nothing at all, and at least leaving their imaginations to run wild with what you might possibly be thinking, and where your red lines are.

In short this guy is just another boomer when its all said and done. If he and his cohorts sat around doing nothing for the first 6 decades+ of their lives while the country rotted around them, good luck expecting them to finally make a stand now when they are on the verge of the comfy retirement and BBQs they spent all those decades working towards.
