None of us know that for sure.

While I think Gehenna's probably right, My optimistic take on the request to take the instructions home is that the sticking point in the decision revolves around exactly what the jury instructions say, And This request was to let the juror time to put together an argument about it for another. (Easy enough to find online, But the juror may not know that or wants to get a copy clearly aboveboard.) Solo work anyways, And this would get things at least moved along quicker. IMO the judge allowing instructions with notes on them to go out the door is nuts. But if this pops up somewhere on the internet that could identify the juror.

The judge won't admit he has been tainted by media coverage and after his first mention of the media, during every single objection and motion he constantly second guesses himself.
This, tbdesu. He's clearly not used to high-profile cases, probably never done one in his 40 years that did more than make the local newspaper, and he desperately wants his small town small court case without all this political bullshit in the way. He's confused, out of his depth, and intimidated by the media spotlight, so he's just trying to get this over with by throwing everything onto the jury's shoulders, because surely the best way to make all this go away is to get a ruling out and be done with it, right?

Hey @benutz I noticed that you're back when I was scrolling to catch up. Care to share your opinion on how the trial's going? You've always been pretty slow on the roll.

I only really started following intently the last few days, as that's where I thought all the action would be. I expected a result yesterday, and now it's clear we won't get a result until tomorrow or later (but who knows).

It's been a bit of a rollercoaster for sure. But the more things drag on, the less I think Kyle is going to get a full on guilty - I would say that is pretty much off the table now. But worst case scenario, and maybe why we have all these shenanigans now is because they are squabbling over nailing him with some lesser charge. I hope not. His life is alredy ruined to a degree, but to what degree is still in the balance. It might even be the making of him. It might already have been too much for him and even with a full not guilty, well... best not to doom...

I do think like most people, he will get a mistrial or hung jury, whether that is with or without prejudice also seems less important as I don't think the state are going to pursue after this fiasco. With another show trial I mean. As others have mentioned, there are still a million ways for them to ruin Kyle's life and I don't think they will leave it rest. It's already a travesty of justice that this was brought about, and pretty much all the hot takes of why that is, have formed in to a fairly coherent consensus by now. No need to eleaborate further. I think most of us here right now are kind of on the same page.

I think Kyle has held up well. A true show of his character. He did nothing wrong but has still been put through hell with his family.

His defence team seem out of their depth. Too many missed opportunities. Perhaps they weren't expecting to be gifted such glaring fuckups by the prosecution. No excuse, they could definitely have fought Kyle's corner with a bit more verve.

The prosecution have been the real stars of this show though. And I think the repercussions of what we have seen here will be felt for years to come. There's a lot to process. They should be held accountable, but they won't (probably). I don't think either of them have made a name for themselves in a good way, becoming laughing stock internet memes. Without being personal, they are scumbags, above and beyond the call of duty. It has been noted.

How the hell the judge has not intervened, well, I think others have put it better than me, and I agree with their hot takes. I liked him in the beginning after I got a handle on him. But now I think he's a coward - the biggest coward in the court in fact. It may come to the point of him deciding how many years Kyle will get, in a worst case scenario. If he's forced in to that (and he's only got himself to blame by this point), then I think it will weigh heavy on his conscience, as it should.

I realise he has his hands tied to a degree, but now is not the time to be an idealistic boomer and to put forth his legacy for eternity; at least the one he thinks he is putting forth, because this will be his defining moment no matter what, and if Kyle goes down, it won't be a good look for him. He's not malicious at least. Just weak. Lovable, but weak. Perhaps he will surprise us (and himself) yet!

Same for the jury. That was always my biggest fear. There was always going to be one. And it looks like there may even be two. As for if they are Karens, or even female, or black or whatever, matters little. Who knows which way the wind blows. Will we ever know who voted whichever way? Especially if Kyle goes down. There is every much a reason for those people who might vote him guilty to want to hide their identities as there is for those that might set Kyle free. Maybe they understand that, maybe not. Maybe the thrill of the good boi points will be too difficult to resist in the short term. I wouldn't like to be the person responsible for putting Kyle in prison for a long time, let's just leave it at that.

So in short, I think there is still hope. It's gone better in many ways than I expected, but gains were not capitalized on, and that coupled with a weak boomer judge who ultimately failed to take responsibility, might be the downfall of Kyle. I hope I'm very wrong.

If it sounds as if I'm hedging bets all around here, well it's because I don't really know. It will be something inbetween for Kyle, and that story is yet to play out, perhaps over years to come. We are least likely to see a full acquittal or full guilty at this point, is all I would wager.

Fingers crossed and prayers and all that, that the hold-out(s) on the jury can come around (even if it takes time) and do the right thing; or that this otherwise very lovable boomer judge can finally do his duty and take ultimate responsibility in this case. He has the ammo and the law on his side to do that it would seem (IANAL), but whether he has the balls is another matter.

It's understandable.

We will all find out very soon just how much the mob rules and how deep the corruption and rot goes in this banana republic some call America. But it's not just America, this corruption and rot is endemic the planet over in this globo-homo world we all inhabit now.

They have plans for us.

On a brighter note, there may even be a positive outcome to all of this if the right decision is made (acquital on all charges). At least for America, because hope is all but lost here in eurocuckland and Greater Anglostan.

We lived through the best of times, in many ways.

Now some of us will get to see the history we learned about in books, up close and personal.

It's coming, and it may not be what some people expect (or wished for).

His defence team has been fine. The problem in a new trial is that all the advantages of the prosecution's mistakes will be lost. They won't make them again.
They can reuse the whole record of this trial and the dirty tricks (like late evidence) have already been used up.

We need common sense religion control. We didn't have all these kikes when the constitution was written.
Yes we did lol. Ben Franklin and a number of other Founders were notoriously philo-Semitic. Many were also involved in Masonic activities. America was always destined to end up like it is now, and it's a miracle it didn't happen sooner. Total religious pluralism is something they got from the Freemasons and cucked English liberals.
Everything the post-Reformation English touch becomes shit, and that includes North America. It's like a reverse Midas touch.

I dont see how it gets resolved tommorow. Karen going with all of her internet notes is likely to piss off other side even more sense the magical new arguments will be naked proof they arent following the process

More importantly tommorow is friday. If youve held out till now what is one more day before you get your weekend off?

Last possible chance of a judgement is monday where people decide "fuck this not another week" if its still not decided then its guaranteed to hang
Not to mention, Thanksgiving next week. If Schroeder REALLY wants to fuck with them, call in max sequester next week if they haven't reached a verdict and keep them away from their families.

God this trial truly is a metaphor in America for current year. A riotous mob torches a city, gets covered for by the media who calls for the public lynching of someone who had to defend their own life in the riot. Some working class kid. He gets called a white supremacist by elite politicians in Washington, is put through a kangaroo court on trumped up charges with no evidence and his fate is being held up by a bored upple middle class white lady who wants to signal her virtue about how down she is with the darkies. Fucking hell.
Wisconsin represents a purple state where it cannot progress at all.

If Kyle was tried in California, he would fry on the chair.

If Kyle was tried in Florida, he would be given a medal by Governor DeSantis.

A wishy washy old bygone state like Wisconsin filled with Swedecucks is definitely hell.

it seems like the glow niggers arnt getting the verdict they want from the jury so they have probably forced one or 2 of them through bribery or blackmail to sabotage the trial and make it a mistrial, leaking court documents during the verdict process would probably be one of the best ways to do it
