In highschool I had friends who were three years older than me because I knew them from outside of school. I had friends who were one year younger too. Having friends outside of your governmentally-mandated cohort doesn’t make you a creep. I suspect you think it’s weird because you only made friends as a child when they were forced into a class with you.

On the other hand, being a massive alcoholic probably did make Sean a creep in his 20s.

Edit: why do we even accept the premise that they were close friends prior to sharing a house? I thought he was originally friends with Sean’s brother, which led to a friendship with Sean once they were older?

I could go on about how little he's kept up with the times and how he's a lot like dick in that his hedonistic ways are poisoning his ability to connect with audiences. Like how he didn't like people chanting "let's go brandon" at a korn concert, because he thought it was political, meanwhile it was a concert that deliberately chose its venue because it didn't require the vax.
