He's the exact kind of person who would unironically enjoy Critical Role.Like Vaush would sit down and learn a tabletop game.
While I agree with that, it doesn't address the point: you don't need to know jack about D&D to watch CR.He's the exact kind of person who would unironically enjoy Critical Role.

For the record, that apparently isn't "The Austrian Painter," who seems to have actually worn Falangist and Nazi apparel rather than some silly Hitler Costume. The Bell of Lost Souls article about it has a picture of him, and of course they use that shitty "people opposing politicizing 40K are Nazis" comic to cement their point about this being used as a vehicle to further drive away the right-leaning Warhammer fans. That thumbnail is horrific.
The thing on the left. The dude on the right is hilarious.
The constant use of trite pop culture references really sells this article. For the record, that apparently isn't "The Austrian Painter," who seems to have actually worn Falangist and Nazi apparel rather than some silly Hitler Costume. Looking at what people have said online it was “themed”. So no prizes but your first guess is probably correct. What army did the guy play
Wasted effort. It's easy to drive them away without all that. I do it by...to further drive away the right-leaning Warhammer fans.
In the old Knights of the Dinner Table strip, the GM character BA wrote a beginner RPG with the same premise called "Dawg". Wonder if that was the inspiration....Also try Pugmire. It’s basically D&D with dogs. It’s meant to be family friendly and I believe the author wrote it to introduce TTRPG to his kids.
The really stupid thing? The dude obviously did this for attention. Writing articles about it? Gives him that attention. Congratulations, wokescolds. White supremacy wins again. The constant use of trite pop culture references really sells this article.
The even funnier thing is instead of trying to knock him out of the tournament, the soyboys just resigned and gave him free victory points. He coasted to an easy tournament placement by buying some football hooligan shirts. The really stupid thing? The dude obviously did this for attention. Writing articles about it? So Kriegers or Armageddon, got it.Looking at what people have said online it was “themed”. So no prizes but your first guess is probably correct.
1. I’ve never seen anyone mad that there are female guardsmen (guardswomen?). The only real gender fight is with the Astartes, and that’s because the lore explicitly states that women cannot become Space Marines since gene-seed just doesn’t take when you deviate too far from the Primarch.Wasted effort. It's easy to drive them away without all that. I do it by...
1: Remind them that the Imperial Guard employs women without problem, and also show them the art as such in Only War.
2: Remind them that the whole setting was written as a satire of British society.
