For anyone curious, this may be an example of one of the toys that was zapped to the extreme by Chris.

Just at a glance I feel like that toy and its related art don't hold the same sexual appeal for autistic/furry people that the prior iteration of them did. Like the old ones had a sort of anime-adjacent style that appeals to a certain crowd of people like Chris who autistically mingle their childhood enjoyment of cartoon animals with sexual desire. Tara Strong's prepubescent girl impression seems to often coincide.

We might see the terrible result of these ponies actually appealing foremost to the children they were originally conceived for, rather than people like Chris.

Autistics don't like CGIs.
They do in some cases. Frozen is popular with them for example. I'm trying to think of some other examples but yeah I'd say for the most part I see less spergy fanfare over CGI than cartoons. I wonder if Randy Stair would've liked these new ponies though? He liked Frozen and a few other CGI movie posters were on his wall, and he liked ponies.

Big Hero 6 is probably the best animated movie of the last 10 years.

You don't have to change my mind.

Shanks's Pony?

It's slang for walking.

I thought autistics had a reputation of being technophiles, so wouldn't that mean liking CGI?

Some do some don't, the technophile demographic tends to be more functional than Chris is but even Chris has some tendancys towards that direction but he quickley get's out of his depth unless it's very clearly spelled out in terms of operational process.

CGI is probably harder to do self insert characters of and keep the style consistent. That's my bet on why cartoons get more spergery.
