Because Kat is an HSTS who’s been burned many times by GAMPs who chase her only to later come out as trans. And it unsettles Kat to learn that men she saw as men — masculine men who wanted her “as a woman,” whatever that means — have now declared themselves women as well, as if they are and were always the same, as if the “heterosexual” dynamics of their previous encounters were never real, and as if she wasn’t an object of desire to them so much as a prop in their self discovery. Sucks to be used.

I feel bad for Kat on a human level because fuck people who treat lovers like ego props rather than people deserving of dignity and respect, but man, does the thirsting after OLLY of all people make me want to slap some sense into her. His self obsession leaps off the screen. How could anyone not see it? If you have a history of being burned by AGPs, a narcissist who praises the mouthfeel of girldick should send alarms blazing through your brain. Kat’s picker is broken beyond repair.
This really fascinates me, you can see how so much tension and discord swims just beneath the surface for the trans community. When Olly came out you would expect that the trans tubers closest too him, especially people as high profile as Kat Blaque and Contrapoints, should be singing his praises and talking about how this is a great moment for trans representation on youtube, but they didn't even put out fake, boilerplate comments about it to cover their asses and give the impression everything was hunky dory. Instead... nothing, the loudest nothing I've ever heard. They both know somethings not right, they probably both suspect its either insincere, or reveals that there really are people out there who are trans because of a fetish or simply because it gives them a bit more clout within their social groups. If that is the case it must be an extremely jarring and upsetting realization considering how much these people bang the drum about how TRANS WOMEN ARE WOMEN, or how TRANS RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS and other empty slogans that require minimum thought. Perhaps the dreaded TERFs were right about a couple of things.
Contrapoints I think took this particularly hard, its really amazing how she very specifically avoided even mentioning Olly's new name 'Abigail' when asked, and on top of that couldn't even bring herself to mention his preferred pronouns. She can't help it, no matter how much it clashes with her ideology, it feels so wrong to have to say something she knows is so obviously false, comparable to having to call a horse an anomalocaris every time it comes up or else you are committing a major faux pas. I think this probably influenced why she seems more open to trans-medicalism, 'Truscum' or what have you, recently since she knows on some level there really do have to be limits to who calls themselves trans or else it just gets colonized by weirdos like Olly who don't really understand it but will immediately claim to be Christ incarnate for Trans identities. Maybe the self doubt prompted by greater introspection is what caused her to flirt with detransitioning as she has mentioned.
Kat Blaque has a similar problem, she almost certainly knows how vain, weird and frankly mannish Oliver is when you get to know him, and how he's so obviously performing femininity as this cartoonish drag queen act. It rubs her the wrong way too to see somebody like that flip a switch and start pretending he really knows what its like to be a dysphoric trans person who struggled with this from an early age, but she can't say anything outright because she knows that the trans community would eat her alive if she did anything to question somebody else's gender identity and suggest there are pre-requisites more important than self identity you need before you can be properly trans.
So here both of them are, they know something is off, they are itching to say something, but their only recourse is silence because of the nature of the movement they've attached themselves to and the best they can do is stew with the knowledge they were essentially used by some self-obsessed creep to indulge his fetishes and now see him prance around like they have anything in common.
